Lovely accommodation with great views, perfect place to stay for daughters graduation from Lincoln uni. Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely come again!
Couldn't have asked for more. Everything was excellent. Clean, lovely views over the marina, spacious and really well kept. Lynn even left us on our arrival a welcome gift we really appreciated. I will surely come back.
very nice property and very nicely situated on the marina it was nice to sit out on the balcony in the morning wit a cup of coffee
Just returned from a 4 night stay and, safe to say, we'll definitely return. Great location, beautiful house. Very quiet area but with bars/restaurants 2 minutes away and in easy reach of Lincoln.(laguna verde was fab). We hired bikes on site and cycled into Lincoln along the tow path.. (Took us half an hour). Bus stop also on site which we didn't use but handy.
The house was clean/tidy and had everything we needed.A bottle of wine and crisps were left for us by the owner (thank you). A deli just below the house sells milk and is open from 8am-handy for morning coffee/breakfast rolls etc.
All in all, we had a great time exploring Lincoln. Well worth a visit!
Nice flat overlooking the marina. Would agree with other reviews as to the overall rating of this rental. Very good location for quick 10 minutes drive into historic Lincoln.
Positives; Nice position; quiet and yet with good access to Lincoln. We especially enjoyed hiring one of the on-site Boris-type bikes and cycling the canal tow path into the city, which is delightful. The new part on the water is awash with modern eateries, the town has good shops and the old part is like stepping back in time; cobbled streets, ancient buildings etc. Great city.
The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The main bedroom was delightful, light and airy with views over the marina. The kitchen was well equipped, with washing machine, dishwasher etc. All very easy to use, with instructions on them instead of having to wade through reams of literature.
Negatives; The kids bedroom on the ground floor has no window. Be aware the accommodation is on 3 floors with lots of stairs so anyone with limited mobility might have a problem. Because the balcony is over shops all the internal doors are fire doors and thus rather heavy, and the whole house has creaky floorboards which is not a problem except if you want to creep to the loo in the middle of the night.
All in all I would recommend it as a place to stay when visiting the area.
