we booked well in advance and paid full wack and requested the champagne suite for a 20th wedding anniversary. We were disappointed that we didn't get allocated that suite but got the black and gold one. So we left red and black at home for black and gold. On entering the lift my flipflops stuck to the floor as they did in the corridor.....I appreciate it was a sunday and they had probably had hens and stags partying the night before but it was two o clock in the afternoon and first impressions are important. There was no wow factor as regard décor only space. The apartment was very shabby in places chair had received a botch job there was broken glass on the balcony that we picked up,the blinds in the ensuite bedroom were covered in dust as was the television screen in the bedroom and the outside glass on the doors to the balcony were plastered in finger prints and the wooden frame was also filfthy. The whole apt was very dark.....maybe that is a contribution factor to the cleanliness !!
