I felt at home on arrival and the cleanliness of this b and b is extraordinary. Most of all, I will say its the people who made me fell more comfortable and I will recommend it to all who visit the Liverpool area.

Visited with three friends from London and enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms, enough space for the four of us, good breakfast, and good price. Close enough to the local train station to make commuting into central Liverpool easy. Enjoyable stay.

We stayed two nights over grand national weekend 7 people in Eskdale and 6 in the cottage (same owners) down the road. The rooms were very clean, with a sink area, toilet outside the room then down stairs a larger bathroom with a shower and bath. The service was great we had full english cooked for us at 9am, we were given directions to the nearby train station only 5 minutes walk away to connect into Liverpool city centre and were even taken taken to the pub on the corner on Friday night by the owner where we given good advice on local taxis/ shops etc. At the end of the night it was only £10 for a taxi which between three people was very litlle to stop in a nice clean suburb of Liverpool.

Had a loverly stay at the Eskdale, very warm welcome by Debbie, the owner, great room, nice bathroom with decent shower, good breakfast all that for a rockbottom price of 35 pounds. She could easily get away with 45 pounds per night if you ask me.
Will definetely book it next time i need to travel to Liverpool Area.
It is located very close to the Liverpool airport, so ideal if you arrive late or need to travel early next morning.

Thank you both for a lovely weekend. We were greeted with a lovely welcome when we arrived. The family room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely visit again, hopefully within the next year or so. Thanks again Dawn, Martin and kids, from Scarborough.

We stayed here over a weekend for my Fiance's B'day and we're so glad in the end that we stayed for 2 nights instead of 1! It's a very well kept, clean, and cosy place run by Debbie and Fred. Debbie really puts the extra touches in the room which is tastefully decorated too - our room overlooked a huge garden and was very quiet. Debbie also organised a huge chocolate fudge Birthday cake at breakfast, alongside the scrumptious breakfasts she prepares. The train station (Hunts Cross) is very close by and it was very easy for us to get to Liverpool City Centre, and Anfield for a match! We didn't drive anywhere all weekend, except back home. We'd definately recommend this cosy B&B, and hope to be back at some point in the future! Thank-You.

We stayed at the beginning of October which was a birthday treat for my wife. I was really impressed with the owner who looked after us from start to finish. We booked an en-suite room which was ideal for us although there are rooms with a shared bath room. So check if this important to you.
There is plenty of parking which is secure and is a good place to park the car. You can then catch the metro into Liverpool. The Metro is about a 10 minute walk away, almost ideal.

Breakfast was good with lots of alternatives if you don't want a full English. All in all very enjoyable and could not think of a reason to stay anywhere else.
