My wife and I stay here every 6 weeks or so during the football season .This hotel is in a quiet location, but close enough to the action. It is around 500-600 metres from the new billion pound Liverpool One Shopping Centre and around 100 metres from Albert Dock and the bars and restaurants. It has What's Cooking, Pizza Express and East East (a new Indian restaurant) all within 100 metres or less. The new Liverpool Museum, The Liverpool Echo Arena and the Liver Buildings and Pier head are all within a short walking distance. If you like a quieter location, slightly away from the centre, but within walking distance of the centre then this is the hotel for you. The rooms are modern and contain small kitchens with kettle, dish washer and fridge, satelitte TV and there is a shop in reception selling food and drink, so you could self cater. Breakfast is included in the price, self service and decent although fairly basic food. The only change from recent visits was that the car park below the hotel was full, so we had to park in the adjacent public car park - £7.50 for 24 hours when paying with a discount voucher from the hotel. If you like footballl, don't forget there are three teams on Merseyside, Liverpool, Everton and Tranmere Rovers, the latter needing all the support they can get! Staff are friendly, as you would expect in Liverpool

I was expecting the hotel to be good given it's rating on Trip Advisor and in reality, it was even better than expected. It is more than just a hotel - not only do you get a huge bedroom and ensuite, but you also get a small kitchen, dining area and sofas. You may not need or want to cook, especially given the hotel's very central locality in the Albert dock, but you can. All the equipment is brand new and includes a dishwasher, induction hob and microwave. The hotel even has a little food store in the reception area where you can buy essentials.
Having booked on a website and got a very good deal on the price, I didn't expect to get breakfast but was very plesantly surprised to find that I did. It was a help yourself buffet with a reasonable choice.
Liverpool itself get a big thumbs up from me. I had never been there before and it was lovely. Lots to do, great shops, black cabs in plentiful supply, clean and really friendly people. I can't wait to go back.

Second stay at this hotel and I was really pleased that it hadn't changed.

A wonderful hotel with friendly staff and the beds are amazing...please tell me what make those mattresses are, I need one!

A great location for those wanting to visit the centre and even better for a show at the Echo Arena.

Room Tip: It's a bit tricky to find as the sign is rather small and not very well lit, if you're at th...

AMAZING! This was third visit to Liverpool and previously stayed at Base2Stay as well as Hilton (2 different occasions) and i was truely dissapointed by both of them. At my last trip we were at Echo Arena and when we came out i have seen the Staybrdige right in front of us, went in, and was greated by really helpful , friendly and professional team, they showed us couple of rooms, and i told them i might book it for our next visit.
Recently i have booked our rooms and checked in to Staybridge. What a great hotel, the rooms are very confortable, spacious, the breakfast was great , i must say one of the best hotel breakfasts i had instead of stodggy full english, you have great selection of 3 hot dishes, and you also have an amazing continental breakfast selection from croissants, to cheese, to great proper jams!
The service....now that is always a difficult one, most places these days you have a very inconsistent service from one day to the other, during 4 days we stayed there, everyday we received great service, friendly staff
I am happy to recomend this place anyone visiting Liverpool.

Stayed here 1 night and had an excellent peaceful sleep. The room faced a car park but I couldn't hear anything and felt safe in the room and the hotel. The room was extremely clean, had no bad smells, was a good size with everything you would need, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The window could be opened for fresh air and the thermostat worked correctly. It felt like a cosy little flat, not a hotel room. Would definitely recommend for long term stays. It costs a fiver to get to Lime Street Rail in a black cab.

i returned home from this hotel with a heavy heart i could have gladly stayed there indefinately. We arrived early and the helpful, cheerful staff checked us in there and then. Our room was beautifully well appointed with a double shower and cooking facilities as well as a decent sized tv the in roon safe also gave us great peace of mind as we were able to lock valuables like phones and car keys away with confidence. Breakfast was lovely with excellent choice and plenty of food for all. A totally fabulous weekend was made even better by the excellence of the hotel and staf.

Recently satyed a night at this hotel for the first time , I arrived late and the staff went out of their way to help and couldn't have been more friendly, had to leave early next morning and the experience was repeated.

The only downside was the arena had an event on and the cars were still leaving the multi storey next door very late with their tyres making squealing noises on their way down

Room Tip: Away from the multi storey
