The museum handles about diverse aspects of slavery and it doesn't spare Liverpool's part in it. It explains the Atlantic slave trade and the emancipation of people out of slavery.
But some aspects, like what is happening in Asia are coming much to short. It is very much a museum about the abduction of African people into slavery and the injustice of white-skinned people. These are important aspects of slavery. After a while you feel exhausted by the repeated argument. But it is not the full image and slavery is a much bigger phenomenon, like what has happend in the GULAG in the Soviet Union, what is currelty happening in North Korea, what happens in Arabia, rural India ... And you wish, that there could be something about these aspects of slavery.
