“Not nice!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 October 2013

We stayed here for 5 nights, dirty shower, no light in bathroom, no tea/coffee, just a kettle and a dirty tray, shabby old beds, and the room was never serviced and we had to ask for toilet roll. On the good side the little bar was great and quite lively and we liked the owner, they just need to get the rooms sorted!

Good points-
Clean bedding
Later check out(if u really wanted to stay longer)
Girl who served us was lovely.
Bad points-
Not a hotel by any stretch.
No hot water
No bin
No tea or coffee etc
No glasses
No loo roll
Furniture falling apart
3 wheeled bed
Hole in bed base
Shower could of walked off on its own.
Blinds where point less
No bed lights/lamps
Think that covers most of it. We paid £57.50 for this. We where not expecting the Hilton but come on no loo roll or infact any of the above. But we had a great night in Liverpool it's self.

I have been to this hotel and it isn't briliant accomodation however it is good for lorry drivers who don't want to stay in their cab hence the simple accomodation.
If you are expecting something brilliant then put your hand in your pocket and stay in a hotel closer to the city centre!!!
If the price is cheap then don't expect a nice hotel.

Begrudging I have to give this place 1 star out of 5, as it is not even worth the 1! Considering the place it is situated at you would think that basic general hygiene would be the very least they could do, but obviously that is too much of an effort. Were do I begin, there was actual vomit splattered on the walls, in particular above the head board and all across the radiators, the shower was disgusting, there was no toilet roll, there was blood in the sink, actual faeces not in the toilet but on the toilet seat, cobwebs on the walls, a camping chair propped in the corner with a broken arm, cigarette burns on the bed covers, brown ironing boards with holes in, beds propped up by wooden planks and dry crisp bogies wiped across the walls!! When we complained to the owner and asked for another room she said 'that it was clean, the broken chair was a feature, what do you expect as it is a budget hotel, she was just out buying us toilet roll and that it just needed a lick of paint!' When we werent happy with this she told us to get our stuff and go. Her attitude stinks and I wouldnt even let a feral cat stay there for the night in fear it may catch something!! For £11 more we booked into a best western in the centre that was absolutely stunning!! Do yourself a favour and steer clear, unless your a hollywood film maker and are looking for a set to film the new shrek movie!!! Pictures of proof soon to be uploaded!

No heating, no bulbs, no tv, no toilet roll, no blinds, no kettle, no milk, no costumer service, no management, no care in the world for guest what an absolute disgrace!! Don't ever go near this place it's the worse place you will ever go to. It's in the middle of no where with no local shops. I went down to the 'bar' to have a drink while waiting for my mrs to get ready for a night out and found the bar was shut (9pm!!) and also found myself locked out in the cold and rain for half an hour. There was no management around or even staff! What sort of bar closes before 9pm??? We suspect they closed it because of the complaints we kept on making about the room. It was colder in the room than outside and there was no tea or coffee facilities to warm up. The idea of sharing a tiny portable heater with the ladies in the room next door was just ridiculous! I could right essay after essay about this disgusting place but I'd be here for a while just take my advice and pay the extra to stay at the premiere inn we will do next time that's for sure!

We pulled up outside the pub/hotel and immediately thought this is going to be bad! We went to check in (which we was told 12 and it was actually 2) so we had a drink in the pub. The pub didn't seem too bad, until I went to the toilet and saw the state of the urinal and was nearly sick! We ventured into Liverpool, came back to check in and that's when we were took to our room. There was 2 single beds, and the headboards were just two pieces of wood drilled to the wall, half of the vertical blind was missing so we had light coming into the room all night, the shower worked, but had no hot water, there was something all over the walls, no soap or shampoo. There was a kettle though, no power lead to the kettle and nothing to have a cuppa with if there was! All in all this is the worst hotel I have ever stopped in and I've stopped in a few bad uns!

Well were do we start? If you like the aroma of sewage then this is the place for you. Situated right opposite gate 2 of the liverpool sewerage works just adds to the experience. Ideal place to stay if you have a cold that needs clearing. Very enviromentally freindly with your 'business' not having to travel far. Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Armageddon set, i pretty much might as well have been in Hollywood. A few of the rooms have #ensuite which for me was a pleasure being able to get a shower and release some fresh lemon zest inton the atmosphere. It was also great for taxis back all the drivers knew it 'your not staying there are you' obviously they could not believe how 'big time' we were. All in all i enjoyed my stay and i would defo return. My only advice would be to take a peg in your luggage. No need to take a book though as readers wives was provided.

Room Tip: Make sure you get #ensuite
