Liverpool One has made a big difference to "town". The development has enlarged the shopping area and has brought a wider range of shops to the city that were missing beforehand. The only downsides are the extortionate cost of the multi-story car park and that it's not under cover.

Well. The car park is ruddy expensive. There is not enough shops. The toilets cost 20p which is ridiculous. I had to wait outside nandos for 20 minutes and I spilt my milkshake. Worst experience ever! avoid at all costs

I visited Liverpool for the day. After a little sight seeing, this was a great area to grab a bite to eat. (I ate at Ronaldo's, a great little upmarket burger restaurant. Staff & food was great).
And do a little retail therapy , with all the major high street shops, H&M,Zara etc and stores located in this area and 5 minutes from Liverpool Lime Street Station.

L1 is a great shopping centre, plenty of choice for shops as well as dining options. There is also a Crazy Golf course located in L1 to pass some extra time. Definitely worth going to.
