16 of us stayed here for a hen do. The location was fine - just £5 in a taxi to the centre. And it was also easy to find a space to park on the street, which was free. The house was very well equipped with kitchen utensils and a big fridge and TV. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were nice and everything was spotlessly clean - with the exception of the oven! It was so caked in filth it was unusable. We narrowly escaped a fire. We barely switched it on and the room was full of smoke from all the dirt in there. Other than that our experience was excellent. I would definitely recommend Kensington Town House for a big group of people.
One tip...there is no indication that you’re at the right address when you arrive as the booking confirmation doesn’t give a street number and there is nothing saying Kensington Town House (incidentally for anyone going, it’s number 21). We had to call to find out.
Great rental property for a large group. Near to Anfield and about 2 miles from the city. Taxis weren’t expensive and bus service was good. The property is well maintained, loads of room. Clean and well equipped. Could do with some more seating in the kitchen area and/or a kitchen table and chairs.
When you google the area it comes up with quite negative reviews but we found it absolutely fine and the locals were really friendly in the pub on the end of the road.
Overall a very enjoyable first stay in Liverpool!!!
