This hotel has a very good location and is only a short walk away from shops/restaurants, basically whatever you want. The room has an interesting configuration but was spacious. The toilet and the shower were separate and I felt a little claustrophobic in the toilet as it was quite tiny and airless. I do applaud the Novotel for implementing measures to try and be more environmentally friendly though with the shower gel and soap etc. It was a bit warm in the room and the aircon was working but the flow coming out of the vent seemed to be a bit slow. We couldn't open the window either since it was raining and the drops would come in on the sill. There was some noise from the street outside but it didn't really bother me although if you were a light sleeper it could affect your sleep quality. I find it odd that there isn't a lobby for you to sit in and not even free wifi in the reception area and none in the rooms although I see that they are planning on implementing that in June. A very clean, neat and comfortable hotel.

A fantastic location, a lovely hotel which was very clean. The room was a really good size and the bathroom was amazing. I do believe you might have to ask for a private bathroom as not all rooms come with bathrooms.
The hotel had a swimming pool and gym which were free to use. The restaurant looked nice too.
The staff were good and check in/out were quick.
I will definitely be staying here again! Strongly recommended. So close to Liverpool One shops and restaurants and train station.

Room Tip: Ask for a bathroom.

We had an overnight here recently. The hotel is very well presented and we stayed in an executive room, which was excellent. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom was well appointed and the room was a great size. All was immaculately clean.

Coffemaking facilities were excellent.

The lifts worked well and were fast and efficient, despite the fact that the hotel seemed very busy (it was a home soccer weekend).

Breakfast was an excellent hot/cold buffet and there were plenty of seats in the restaurant, even at the busiest period.

There is no car park but the hotel subsidies parking in the Q Park facility directly opposite (makes an overnight and fully following day stay about £10). It is best to park up and walk the 2 minutes or so to the hotel. If you have a lot of luggage, there is limited space to park and unload near the hotel - although it is possible.

We found the staff helpful and polite, even at times when they were really busy.

It is only about a minutes walk from the hotel into the main shopping thoroughfare in Liverpool 1.

Room Tip: I would recommend a higher floor room and ideally at the back of the hotel because it is on a busy r...

Lovely hotel, great location. We had a fantastic room - 608, although the pillows are hard and the room got quite hot. Great breakfast and happy to cook poached eggs although not on offer on the buffett. Staff very friendly too. Would stay again.

This hotel is very well located with all shops on your door step
Rooms a bit cramped, carpets throughout although clean looked shabby and in need of a good washing.
Restaurant food, breakfast good but main menu very limited where children concerned.

We had a three nights stay at this hotel last weekend. The hotel is very central, 10 minutes walk from Limte Street station and absolutely around the corner from Liverpoon One and Albert Docks.
We didn't use teh breakast service at the hotel, more due to the fact that we wanted to get out in the city and there were several choices for breakfast around just the corner.
The service we had in the reception was friendly and nice and we felt welcomed even though they had several groups checking in before us. That also lead to the fact that we didn't get the room we had booked, but it was ok anyway.
A little strange thing was that there were no sink in the toilet, you had to go to the bathroom to wash your hands. :)

Room Tip: we had a room away from Hanover street so it was very quiet.
