I can't recomment this hotel enough!! Found this hotel at a non refundable rate of £69 for 2 ppl the Sat nite of Valentine's w/end. I booked it straight away, it was such a classy hotel. It was very modern and you would know it is really new. Our suite was so nice, the nicest room Ive ever stayed in. I would definitely stay here again, the hotel is so nice and has a great location. It is 5 mins from O' Neills pub. It is really central it is 5 mins from the main shopping area. I can't recommend this hotel enough, I'm looking forward to a return trip!

Booked this hotel at the last minute. Bearing in mind it was grand national week, most other hotels were charging double their normal rate, Novotel prices remained the same - £79 for two of us including English breakfast.
The location is excellent being 100 mtrs from Liverpool 1.
The quality of the hotel is second to none in this price bracket. Excellent décor, spotless rooms, modern facilities. Staff are unintrusive almost to the point of being ignorant, but helpful if required.
Although we did not have dinner there (we thought it a bit pricey) breakfast was of good quality & well presented.
We normally stay at Premier Inns when on a city break, this Novotel is of much better quality.
Someone on here mentioned O'niells pub being nearby. This is a must go place. Good food, decent prices & excellent atmosphere.

A superb hotel in all ways, except for the bed. The location is 1st class, the staff and service is superb, the rooms clean and contain all you need. But the bed was too soft for my liking, it was like sleeping on a giant marshmellow.
That is my only gripe, everything else couldn't be faulted.

As above I am afraid. I rang reception finally at half 3 to say the music had been blaring all night and the bass beat was thudding through my room. I am on the 10th floor for goodness sake. Nothing they can do as hotel is full. Was told this happens in city centres, well not when I stayed in manchester or cardiff it didn't!

Am now trying to ignore it while I wait to go down to breakfast then back up hopefully for some sleep as it will hopefully have stopped. I will miss a whole session of my conference because of this and I suggest they sort somehting out.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Liverpool Novotel. It's located within a stone's throw of the city centre and a short walk from the Albert Dock. The rooms are clean, modern and a pretty good size. For the price we paid (£62) for a Saturday night, we thought it was a bargain.

The staff were all very helpful and the breakfast was fantastic - the usual cooked breakfast as well as a great range of cereals, breads, pastries and fruit. There is no car-parking on site, but the hotel offers a discounted 24hr rate (£9) at the multi-storey over the road - remember to ask for a ticket at reception before you leave.

Now I've been at Novotel in Liverpool several times, 1½-2 weeks in January and now for about a week in late march. I work for a Swedish company expanding in to the UK and therefore had the pleasure of using Novotel in Liverpool several times, both for interviewing candidates and for training some of the staff we've been hiring.

The hotel is the best i've been in in the UK so far (except for the Gore in London but that's a completely different story and completely different price range (and that was more of a romantic weekend than work)). It's really modern with nice interior decoration and everything is very clean and tidy. Very well organized. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and they communicate in a superb way, both with you and between each other (relaying information you give one staff member). Not something I experience every time at other hotels where you have to say the same thing to every member of staff to make things happen/not happen.

The conference part of the hotel is very fresh, modern with really nice interior decoration. The conference manager is customer service personified. Always there to help, always caring about your needs and always really attentive, helpful and making sure you are looked after. It really surprised me that someone would go so much out of their way to be so helpful. When we come back to Liverpool the next time, our conference venue is pretty set already. :-)

In the basement there is a small gym with the machines you need. There is also a steam sauna and a nice pool with some massage nozzles and, of course showers. A really relaxing place to go to after a long days work.

The room i've been in was really nice as well. There's a flat screen TV, wireless keyboard, ironing board, espresso maker etc. Everything very fresh, clean and tidy.
The bathroom has a frosted glass door and the bathroom itself is also to my liking with the toilet at the back and the sinks and shower/bath closer to the door.

Last, but not least. We, had some really good lunch served from the hotel (all taken care of by the conference manager). Couldn't complain at all. Everything is very well presented and nicely served when asked for, on the minute!

And no, i don't work for Novotel. I'm just generally really happy with the service i've received at this hotel, something (i'm sorry to say) doesn't really happen to often in the UK.

The hotel is new, clean and stylish. The lobby is modern, with electronic check ins as well as staffed. The rooms are just as they are in the picture and overall the stay was good, with the exception below.

When I arrived in the room, it was baking hot, so I thought they had only switched the Air Con on when we arrived (which a lot of hotels do to save money). But when I arrived back later, the room was even hotter. Our 2nd room across the hall was exactly the same, the air con was pushing out hot air rather than cool. There is a window in the room which opens a few centimetres, not enough to cool the room down. I slept on top of the bed with just some shorts, it was so hot. I got up at 6am just to take a shower to cool down. The next morning the temperature in the corridor was cooler than the room.

The hotel has got so many of the other features right, that it's hard to give this a negative review, however the heating was so off it spoiled the stay, so I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a friend until it's sorted.
