“A place where dreams are made!”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

This hotel has a lot going for it, in it's location to Liverpool One (an amazing shopping centre), Albert Docks (with all its eating houses, visitor attractions and museums), Pier Head ( for the 'Ferry across the Mersey'), and all the historic builders well within walking distance. The booking in procedure was quick and easy and the staff very friendly and helpful, on asking my reasons for the trip and finding out it was recreational the young lady was very helpful recommending things to do and places to visit.... made me feel very welcome. Internet access is available in the room but you have to ask for it, it is not offered as an option. The lobby is very bright and modern with plenty of comfy seating areas. The room was bright and very clean mine had a view over the approaches to Liverpool One with it's numerous water features (Chavasse Park), also giving a side view of the Pumphouse in Albert Dock, Museum of Liverpool and of course the River Mersey. I had my dinners delivered by room service which was both fast and efficient and offers a wide choice of meals. The hotel offers a fitness suite. I do recommend that you keep account of everything you remove from the mini bar..... I was charged for two items of food that I did not have!!. On my second day the housekeeping was a little slack ..... no milk cartons/biscuits/coffee replaced and no toilet roll replaced in the bathroom - which by the way was very well appointed!. Breakfasts in the modern restaurant was very good with a very wide choice of everything you could wish for. On the whole the hotel can be recommended and on my next visit will certainly be used again!

Room Tip: Can fully recommend the King Hilton Deluxe, although didn't get any sun was still bright and che...

It was my 3rd time in Liverpool and having tried a 5* hotel and a 4* nearer to the docks I decided to give Hilton a try and this is now my favourite in Liverpool by a margin.

The Location is excellent for shopping( practically in Liverpool 1 next to John Louis).

The quality of the hotel is excellent all over. The service was fast during my visit the room was decent size very clean and very well preserved with very nice furniture and a bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub.

We were given an executive room with access to the 7th floor for free drinks, snacks and continental breakfast but was not really needed as we had breakfast in one of the restaurants just outside.

The service is more like a 5* hotel so highly recommended.

I have only good comments to write, will definitely visit again and my only negatives are:
1) no free wifi in 2014( even BT gives free wifi)
2) no concierge to assist with luggage when we were leaving.

Stayed for one night at this hotel. Best breakfast ever also had a meal in the restaurant. Service was very good and staff were extremely nice. My only gripe about this hotel is the prices of the rooms. I have stayed here on many occasions but feel the prices of the rooms can be expensive. Also the executive lounge is no where nearly as good as the hilton in Glasgow. The air condition wasn't very good

Room Tip: You have a better view on the higher floor levels

Stayed for one night in a standard room. The hotel interior was fancy but the rooms were pretty average to be fair. The room was a good size with a decent view. Bed was nice and comfy and the air con was a great feature. There was a mini bar in the room which for some reason was locked, so we couldn't even use it. Not a great choice of drinking options either. Just basic tea and coffee. One light in our room wouldn't work. Then we had the unfortunate event of the television not working for 90% of the duration of our stay. This was due to the weather breaking an ariel on the roof. I was disappointed we wasn't offered anything complimentary in a way of an apology. I understand the ariel breaking wasn't the hotels fault though it just would of been good customer service.
We had a cocktail at the hotel bar which were £9.50 each. Nice cocktail but shame about the wait for the drink to be served. Took around 20minutes.

The hotel in itself is great looking but the rooms did remind me a little of a holiday inn room..with just a few different features. Not worth a hefty price tag but if you can find one reasonably price then I would recommend simply for the location.

A well designed and comfortable hotel in the heart of Liverpool ideally suited to access the historic port area, museums galleries and shopping centre. We very much enjoyed our stay and would return again without any hessitation.

I stayed at this hotel with my mum on my birthday and we had one of the best Rooms the views are lovely and you rooms are big and that windows are so big you can see everything they have me a cake because it was my birthday. The only thing I would say is they need to be more
Friendly I wouldn't take young kids there as it's more posh for business.
