4 of us stayed here Fri/Sun to visit Liverpool after reading previous reviews and what can I say, I'm glad we did.
We were greeted by Sue, the owner, with a very warm welcome and shown to our rooms which have tea, coffee, biscuits, TV and very comfy beds.
The whole hotel, rooms, lounge, dining room and bar are all done out to a high standard.
Sue's husband, Mark does a mighty fine job in keeping the drinks flowing in the evening with a selection of beers, ciders and lagers and cocktails.
There is a good selection at breakfast time. Fruit juice, cereal, fruit, full English and a selection of other cooked food and all tasty too.
To get into the city of Liverpool is very easy, just a 5 min walk to the train station and at £3.20 return you cant go wrong. Delta taxi's also do reasonable fares.
We would highly recommend staying here when visiting Liverpool.
Thanks again Sue for letting us leave our car after checking out while we made a last train journey into the city.
