Dear Colin A,
Thank you for the review of Hampton by Hilton Liverpool City Centre.
We appreciate all feedback concerning guest’s experience of our hotel. We consistently look to improve our service and offerings to all of our guests.
We stayed here from 1st Nov to 3rd Nov, lovely hotel close to Liverpool one and local attractions.
No clean linen or towels on second day which I was surprised about and breakfast is a bit manic and could be extended to 11am at the weekends. Showers are great.
The room could have been cleaned a little better but overall it was a nice hotel and I would stay again.
A "chain" hotel in the middle of a big city sounds like a recipe for widget salesmen in diesel Peugeots to be sent to whilst attending a conference on "Salesmanship..are you any good?" but not this one!
What a superb place to stay right in the heart of Liverpool with excellent rooms, a very smart ambiance, very efficient and attentive staff who gave a warm and friendly welcome. I have nothing but good things to say and for those of us who like cars, this is the hotel you need to stay at with it's wonderful underground garage.
Some have commented about the breakfast being a little busy but all you do is get up earlier! It offers an excellent choice of good things to eat in most pleasant surroundings given it's location so do not expect rolling parklands or a view of New York out of the window but enjoy a good breakfast and walk 200 metres to the Liverpool Docklands, the outstanding shops, the wonderful Cathedral or a thousand more things that Liverpool has to offer.
I had never been to Liverpool before but when I go back, this hotel is the only one on my list!
lovely and clean modern hotel, in an ideal position next to lovely Albert Dock ( try blue bar for food) , and shops and restraunts, breakfast was nice, a good choice, the staff were fab, so friendly and cheerful, a credit to the hotel. One lift was broken for some of the stay so a bit of a wait at times
Hotel is good location for Albert Dock and Liverpool centre. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were clean, comfortable and a good size and bathroom had a good provision of toiletries. Breakfast is self service and adequate. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. This is my second time staying at this hotel and I would definitely stay again.
As a Hilton Gold member, this is a shining example of a Hampton; definitely not the lower end Hilton it's typically associated with in the US.
Located 3 blocks from Albert Docks on the main road, it is on the end of a row of buildings that includes a Hilton, Police HQ, ibis hotel, and then the Hampton. Car park is located under the hotel; rooms are very clean; views of the city on 3rd floor and above are spectacular!!!
Definitely plan to go to breakfast early; the dining area is very small and it crowds quickly. Breakfast menu is quite limited - not the full English breakfast from a Doubletree or Hilton.
