“Great hotel but better for groups than couples...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 April 2014

I'll explain the reason for the 4/5 first. The hotel gets a lot of groups for football, stag and hen parties which is fine but it did mean we were woken up at 3am by a group of girls in the next room stumbling around drunk and singing. This was not ideal but not the end of the world. I honestly think that for a quiet couples weekend, you might want to consider this.

But despite all that, the hotel really was very good. The room was spotless with a microwave, hairdryer, internet, digital tv, fridge, kitchen type sink and really well laid out bathroom. The aircon was great too because it's so rare to get aircon in a reasonably priced UK hotel and made for a nicer environment.

The bed was comfortable but both my and my girlfriend didn't sleep very well for some reason. It may have been the noise from the street and the next door room though. The staff were lovely and really helpful and they let us keep our bags there after check out for the whole day which was a nice touch.

The location was perfect too. Everywhere is 10-15 minutes tops and theres a place across the road that has a really cool beer garden. As for food, I recommend Alma de Cuba just up the road... be sure to ask at the desk about it and you'll get a 20% discount on food. Fazenda is not too far away and it a great experience. As for breakfast try Moose Coffee or LEAF and for lunch try find Free State Kitchen.

Room Tip: We called up and got a King room with a discount so be sure to call to see what's on offer.

Stayed for 3 days. 1st time of using an apart hotel. Excellent experience, friendly helpful staff, clean. Room upgraded. Only downside located on a rather rundown back road but easily accessible to major attractions.

Dear Joy J
Thank you for your review. We actually class ourselves as a hotel with the addition of our 'mini-kitchen' rather than a serviced apartment, or apart-hotel, but am really glad that you enjoyed our concept. We always do our best to upgrade rooms where possible, so it's great that you were able to benefit from this. We are working closely with our neighbours on Seel Street, and throughout the Ropewalks to improve the local area. I am really pleased to confirm that the buildings opposite the hotel are currently in the final phase of reconstruction and refurbishment - and , in fact, are being sand-blasted as we speak! I am sure that the removal of the scaffolding and re-opening of the buildings on the street will make a marked difference to the 'feel' of the Seel Street, at the heart of the Historic Ropewalks area.
I hope that you choose to come back to Liverpool soon!

Best regards

Andrew Marsh

We stayed at this hotel while on a hen party. The rooms were very clean and modern, and in a great location.
Walking distance to bars, clubs and Liverpool one. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Housed in a beautifully restored building,The Nadler is in convenient walking distance to the Cavern and loads of other interesting bars, restaurants and shops. Our room was impeccably clean, comfortable and quiet. There are basic kitchen facilities and a really great hair dryer. WiFi is free and easy to access. The reception staff went out of their way to point us toward the local attractions and were always helpful and friendly. But the best thing about our visit was the bed! It was the best bed we've ever slept in, and we would visit again just for the privilege of sleeping there, even if Liverpool weren't such a fascinating place!

Booked a gallery apartment as a surprise for my best friend as we were going out in Liverpool for her hen night. Prior to our stay I popped in with some balloons and banners and photos of the bride to be, the staff were really helpful and laid them out around the room before we got there which was really good. Accommodation is really nice, clean, and makes you feel very safe as you need to key card to get into all corridors and the main entrance.
Really good sleep, was really quiet especially when you think it was good Friday.
Thank you to everyone for an enjoyable stay. With four people in the gallery room it was a bit of a squeeze if you were wanting to have a relax beforehand but we folded up the couch beds whilst we got ready.

Dear Vicky C
It sounds like you had a great visit to our great city! We always do our best to make each guest stay as individual as possible, so I'm glad the room was prepared for you. Our gallery Studios are designed to offer spacious accommodation for 2 guests, or an affordable way for a family or small group to stay in the heart of Liverpool.
Thank you for your kind comments about our security, and the quietness of the room -we take it very seriously here at The Nadler.
We hope to welcome you back to the hotel soon.

Best regards

Recently stayed at the Nadler for a hen party in Liverpool. It is in a brilliant location - lots of bars and restaurants are in walking distance so no need for a taxi! There is also a tesco store nearby so you can nip out for any essentials you might need. The Q-Park car park is also a short walk away and Nadler reception will provide you with a voucher for discounted parking.

The apartments were clean, modern and comfortable. Kitchens are compact but provided everything we needed for our stay. Bathroom - great shower and good sized bath. Complimentary toiletries and towels are provided.

Really happy with the Nadler and would definately stay here again.
