Stayed in the Nadler (formerly Base2Stay) for one night but wish it could have been longer as we loved our stay! Room we were in was lovely, with exposed old beams which made it pretty awesome to stay in. Will be staying here when I'm back in Liverpool again!

Dear CDT09
So glad you enjoyed your stay with us. You must come back to us soon! The beams in our loft-style rooms on the 4th floor were restored during the building's renovation and still capture the character of the original design. Many of the beams used to complete buildings like ours were originally used to construct ships, and subsequently re-used, so could date back further than the early 1800s.
We also take part in the local ropewalks heritage tours, which detail the history of this part of Liverpool.
Best regards
Andrew Marsh

Easy to find, very clean rooms. Staff was polite & helpful. No restaurant but there are plenty of places within 5 minute walk. I asked for a free upgrade & they gave me one. Parking just down the street at Q Park $10.80 with hotel validation for 24 hours.

Room Tip: Ask for room in rear side of hotel to avoid late night crowd noise

We stayed at the Nadler on the 31st May 2014 for the night, the room was excellent with a fridge,a microwave and ice was available at the end of the corridor which was fan as it was a hot weekend. The room had air conditioning in the room which was great. I was particularly impressed with the bathroom armed with a brilliant shower. Very centrally located which was fab! It made our weekend

In a characterful street of shabby bedlam sits the Nadler. It is a spotlessly clean, very professionally run hotel inside a converted warehouse. It is very central and the double glazing protects you from the music in the street.I hope that the rest of the street, which appears to be a building site, will all be renovated to the same standard.Park in the Q park overnight for £10.50(it is less than a minute away.Shop for breakfast at Tescos(beneath the car park).Iwill return.

Dear Gareth47
Thank you for your lovely review. It is of paramount importance that you get a great night's sleep, which is why we invested time and thought into making our rooms as quiet as possible. With double glazing, partnered with sleek secondary glazing, we aim to make sure that you're not disturbed. I hope that you took advantage of our partners, some of which are situated on our street which offer a great local flavour in food, drink & entertainment. Many with live music.
We hope to see you back at The Nadler soon!

Best regards

Andrew Marsh

Nothing is too much trouble for this hotel, well certainly the male staff member who checked us in. Gave us all the information we need to find the Beatles Story, how to get to the docks etc. Then cmd out from behind the desk (they were busy at the time) to assist with the bags from the car, organised breakfast. Great work. The room was excellent. King size bed, good size bathroom, self catering kitchen (limited) and free Wi Fi. Put it in the list, it's only a ten minute walk to the docks (the main tourist area).

Room Tip: Parkng is at a high rise car park about 300 metres from the hotel. Suggest you unload the car at the...

It was sheer joy when I saw my big and modern room at the Nadler. It has skylight ceiling, microwave, small refrigerator, eating utensils, tv, and a desk with wifi. My hotel in the last city I visited before going to Liverpool was completely the opposite: small, old, had soggy bed, etc.

STAFF: They are very welcoming, friendly, and answered all my questions regarding Liverpool.

LOCATION: It is central to places I wanted to visit so I just walked to these attractions, particularly the 2 cathedrals, Chinatown, and attractions near the Lime Train Station. For those located at the Albert Docks, I used the Liverpool City Sightseeing Tour Bus.

RESTAURANTS AND GROCERY STORE: I bought my fruits, sandwiches, water, etc. at the grocery store located about 5-7 minutes away from the hotel.

CONCLUSION: I would definitely stay again at this hotel next time I visit Liverpool for reasons shown above.
