“Value prices for somewhere much more sumptuous”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

I picked the Nadler from Booking.com and was really impressed with the value for money (£57/night) you got in this converted warehouse. The rooms are new and very comfortable, quiet and well serviced with flat screen TV, plenty of sockets and WiFi, which worked perfectly whilst I was staying there. The little kitchenette would be great if you wanted to do your own thing in the room but there are just so many places to eat, drink and be merry on the doorstep that it wasn't necessary for my trip. This isn't a full-service hotel in a swish part of town but there is a car park (for £3 overnight) across the road and to my mind, with its proximity to Liverpool One and the Waterfront, is an exceptional find. Reception were really friendly and helpful. Next time I need to stay in Liverpool I know where i'm going.

Modern, clean, great location (even though a bit run down, still within walking distance to many landmarks, shopping, bars, restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shops); excellent value for your money and super-friendly staff.
The one complain I may have is the low ceilings with the wooden beams. Hit my head on one. But in all fairness, they DO have a sign warning you so, it was my fault.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Liverpool, whether on vacation or in business. Definitely a great stay!

Dear LueGill

Thank you very much for your review. We're right in the heart of the Ropewalks, which is one of Liverpool's historic districts and many parts are currently under renovation - so we hope that you will notice a difference to our surroundings on your next visit.
Thank you for your comments regarding our team - we are very proud of their dedication to making sure that each guest makes the most of their stay in our great city.
With regard to the ceiling height and the beams, we only have a small number of rooms on our 4th floor, with sloped ceiling and beams, so please let us know next time that you would prefer a higher ceiling (some of which are up to 15ft!) we will allocate accordingly.
We hope to see you back soon.

Best regards

Andrew

I stayed in this hotel with my sister. We came up to Liverpool on a sightseeing/shopping trip. I had been before and stayed in a more expensive but less than classy hotel.

Given that we booked this hotel on a "deal", we were so impressed with the classy feel of the Nadler, location, size, cleanliness and quality of furnishings in our room and the little "gem" extra's i.e. a powerful hairdryer and a proper iron and ironing board.

The staff were very helpful, friendly and informative and we could not fault their professionalism or courteous approach, even at busy times.

We particularly loved the little kitchen area and fridge - what a fab idea - all hotels should have them - take note, those that don't!!

The only gripe I have , is that it is an air conditioned hotel and because of this the windows do not open at all, which would have been a bonus for me especially, as I like fresh air.

We shall definitely be back. Well done all of you!!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 202, it wasn't the greatest view but it was at the back of the hotel and very...

This is truly a world class hotel. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable. The bathrooms are excellent including showers with good water flow. The hotel is fantastic but the highlight is the staff. They are top notch and after 30 years of travelling the World, they are the best ever. They are friendly, knowledgeable and understand that staying in a hotel should be pleasurable.

We had a night here and wow what a great hotel! Located a short walk from Liverpool 1, Almost famous and parking just round the corner we couldn't have asked for a better location! Our room was superb!! Really high quality and furnished beautifully. The staff were massively accommodating and we didn't want to leave!! This is THE hotel to stay in if you are in Liverpool, we couldn't praise it enough!

Hotel was lovely, the room was spacious, clean and modern and great value for the price that we paid. The reception staff were very friendly and told us about the discount offers available through the hotel at some of the local bars and restaurants. The Q car park is only a couple of minutes walk away and the hotel offers a discount so it costs £12 to park there for the day and overnight. The hotel is on Seel Street which is full of bars and restaurants so this was a great plus point for us as we could walk to everywhere we wanted to go in the evening and even though the hotel was located right near the bars it was not noisy at all. Albert Dock and Liverpool One are also only a few minutes walk away.
