Stayed June 2014, one night £79 + £6 breakfast
I was really taken by this hotel situated in a converted historic warehouse building in a terrific location. Lots of period details, exposed beams and the like make you feel you're staying somewhere a bit different.
Enormous room, enormous bed, enormous tv, enormous bathroom. And so delightfully quiet. There was a kitchenette tidily hidden away in a cupboard with a fridge and everything. Free wifi, just as it should be.
For the money, this may be the best value hotel I've ever stayed in. And for £6, such a sweet little breakfast bag, delivered to your room, containing a very nice Danish, yoghurt, Luscombe juice, milk and cereal. Apparently there's a gourmet upgrade available too, but I didn't know about this.
Utterly charming staff who gave a great welcome and offered lots of useful local info.
Don't think I'd bother trying to find anywhere else to stay in Liverpool: I felt really at home in this place that really belongs to where it is.More
