Don't expect too much from these apartments. They are obviously rented out every weekend to different stag and hen parties who do not care about their surroundings
The wall paper was coming away from the walls, we had no hot water to begin with, no bed linen or towels -

Room Tip: Central location, thats the only good thing about it

Location is excellent , staff at reception v friendly and helpful but the actual accommodation could be a lot better. The windows are not clean, the tiling in the bathroom are poorly done and all the furniture is of cheap quality- hard leatherette sofas, poor mattresses etc. Nice touches could have been tea, coffee making facilities, a bin and a more thorough clean/ tidy up of the common areas. The place has potential but needs a bit more money spending.

Me and a few friends stayed here well never again, what a sham 1st of all check in is a joke could not get in till well after 5pm after traveling last thing you need, however gave benifit of doubt went in to town to come back to the worse check in ever staff (well like to know who trained them) they were rude and very unpleasant, once your money is paid the interest in you is GONE ? 1st thing we notice hall ways were not very clean, dust everywhere once in the apartments well the smell that hits you is BAD, once we had a look around, the apartments suppose to sleep upto 6 people in each (we had 2) there were not enough beds, were promised they would follow later, well ok now we are starting to panic a little, we left it in there hands, we decided to get a shower and changed so we opened a few cans then to find we only had 4 glasses, ok not to much of a problem if you are not fussed drinking from a can, when it came to the last 2 guys to get a shower there was not enough towels, looked in draws/wardrobes to see if any spare, what a mistake BEWARE doors fall off, by this time we had enough and decided to go out, at reception we asked for more towels and to remind them about the beds, 3 of us returnes around 11ish to see if things had been done and guess what NO, there was a different person on when we got back and hey presto its done in 10 minutes with a apology (sorry could not remember his name the guy who looks so stressed ) he put the beds up for us with the extra linen, we then went out to meet the rest of the guys knowing all was well, we returned at 3ish after finally having a good night in the City, as we all settled down these so called fold away beds (if your offered them) dont bother they are suitable for children only (if there small) what got me more than anything on the Saturday I asked to speak to the manager (PAUL KELLY) as I was told the so called receptionist called and spoke to him but he would not speak to us, MAN TO MAN, to this day still no responce so anyone who wished to be treated this way and pay for it well this is the place to stay, DON'T FORGET YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!

People's negativity about this place seemed totally unbelievable to be honest. There was not a single thing we could find that would warrent a moan.

A group of us (6) stayed in Apartment number 7 at the Print Works on Henry Street in Liverpool over the last May 2011 bank holiday (Sunday to Tuesday) As soon as we got there, we knew we were going to have a fantastic time in Liverpool. The apartment was fab. 2 lovely decorated bedrooms rooms, 2 great bathrooms (one ensuite) and the living room / kitchen was funky and spacious with a huge sofa, TV with loads of channels, and a fully equiped kitchen; perfect basically!

The 2 guys we encountered as we checked in / checked out were so lovely; helping us out with where to park and helping us to take our things to the apartment.

The location was excellent. We were there to go clubbing and it was great to be back after our night out in only 2 minutes! The area is really great. Loads of bars/restaurants are only a short walk away as are The Docks and Liverpool One.

We are going back to Liverpool later on this year and we will definately be going back to The Printworks in Liverpool. This time, we are going for the huge Penthouse Suite on the very top floor!!!! :)

Thank you Printworks, you do a great job and we will see you again soon!

Room Tip: Room Number 7 suited the 6 of us perfectly!

How and why anyone could complain about their stay is unbelievable! These are prime city-centre luxury apartments, miles better then any hotel (unless your a lazy Yank!).

Here is the rundown following our 2-night stay in a two bedroom apartment with friends (3 x couples + visiting friends, all 30ish!!):

1-The staff are extremely freindly and proud of their family run-business and city, its not hard to imagin the state some of the hen and stag do's must leave the place (hence some of the reviews!). We had a slight issue with the layout of our room on arrival and with no hassel we were re-located into another straight away (perfect service). It would be worth checking with the hotel what the layout is for the room you book if you are couples sharing an apartment, some are better suited to hen and stag do's.

2-The location is spot on for anything city centre, including a stones-throw from L1 and the Docks. Yes the parking is limited but there is a £6 for 24hr public carpark less then 100m away. Beware of parking outside the apartments as one of our friends got a parking ticket!

3- The apartment was made up of 2 bedrooms (one with a double and single and the other with 2 singles), a large kitchen/living room/diner (completely kitted out with enough mod-cons to keep any man happy!). One large family bathroom and a much needed second on-suite bathroom to one of the bedrooms.

4-Cost, £60 per night, complete value for money. I would highly recommend the apartment we stayed in (No.7), however, never saw any others so can't comment on them.

To summarise, these apartments are perfect for anyone wishing to experience city centre luxury living. Dont be put off by the cheap rates, it turely is the only cheap thing about this place (sorry travlelodge!!). I will be staying here anytime I visit the city and plan to up-grade to one if their penthouse suites next time (if I can convince the wife!).
