We secured a deal for two rooms here for the weekend to see Royal Deluxe performing with their Giant Spectacular puppets.

Check-in was relatively quick although when we got to our room we'd been allocated an accssible one with a wet room shower. Unfortunately the wet room had a tiny sink which was far too low for anyone not in a wheelchair to use. We asked reception to change the room and eventually we were moved. Other than this small blip, the rest of the weekend was fine.

Rooms are moden and well equipped - some have split level aspects (presumably from the building being converted): for example our replacement room had a step up into the bathroom; our friends had a room that had 3 steps up to get to the door and because the entire room had slightly restricted ceiling height they had a bath without any shower facilities. Beds were comfortable.

The breakfast selection and food quality was good and was being regularly replenished. They serve up to 11:00 at weekends too.

Would certainly stay here again and recommend to others. We also had the added bonus that the parade on the Sunday came directly past our friends' bedroom window so we had a great view of the puppets close up.

Free wifi is available but only for 30 minutes at a time.

Room Tip: If you have less personal mobility check at reception whether the room you've been allocated has...

Good location for sightseeing and shopping have now stayed twice at this hotel. Please check towels as one we has was stained, breakfast is all you can eat but not worth the money they charge it was cold. Rooms very big bathroom is small and rooms could do with a fridge. Staff are helpful. Free wifi in rooms is excellent

we booked the Days Inn for a couple of nights to see the giant puppets show.the staff were very efficient and helpful.we arrived early and they let us store our luggage securely until we could go up to our room. The room was great it had air con,and an ice machine outside in the corridor.the bed was very soft and we slept well,(although i prefer a firmer bed).A good location to stay for all the sights in Liverpool.

Room Tip: higher floors for better views.ask about ice machines, they are not on every floor.try to get a king...

We recently stayed at the Days Inn when visiting Liverpool to see the Giantspectacular. We usually stay at Travelodge or Hampton by Hilton which are both budget price hotels. I booked in advance and got a room for two nights £61.50. Comparable to Travelodge, maybe slightly better. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean with air con and tea coffee making facilities. You can hear the rumbling of the Metro link which is next door, but you soon get used to it. Wi fi was also included. The bathroom was lovely with Villeroy and Boch basin etc.. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Complimentary soap in containers fixed to the wall. Breakfast was £6.50 if booked in advance, £7.50 if ordered on the day. Plenty of choice (scrambled eggs only) with a food rating of 5. Many TV screens around the breakfast room, to enable you to catch up on the news whilst eating breakfast!
The bonus for us was the left luggage room at no extra cost! To leave luggage at Lime St. Station will cost you £6 per bag for 3hrs.
The Day's Inn couldn't be in a better place. The Albert Docks is directly opposite. Liverpool One is 5 mins walk away, (Debenhams being the 1st shop you come to) not far from the magnificent St George's Hall and museums on Lime Street close to the station. and bus station about 15mins away. Also many theatres within walking distance.
The hotel was extremely busy over the weekend as the huge event was on (ha ha!) but the reception staff were always helpful, cheery and approachable. Liverpool hospitality at its best!
Do yourselves a favour. Stay here if your on a budget. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Nice to have a room overlooking the docks but I think it may be quieter on other side.

Really good hotel for shopping, sightseeing and going out in Liverpool. Excellent location, clean comfortable room with lots of space and air con which was a big plus as it was so hot outside. All staff friendly and helpful. Only had breakfast one day, average but decent value for money. Would use this hotel again
