Iconic part of Liverpool. Lots of little shops to buy souvenirs (especially Beatles memorabilia). Yummy cafes and coffee shops around as well. Worth a visit.

Lovely, historic, scenic place, had a fabulous stay here, the "locals" were very friendly, a nice selection of shops and bars.. but take plenty to spend because food and drink is very expensive, however, the gifts shops are far less expensive than expected, a cashpoint (ATM) is available but charges 1.85 to withdraw cash, much to my daughters horror. Will definately visit here again,

I'm a frequent visitor to the Albert Dock.

I love the shabby chic shopping and the al fresco bistro coffee bars.

On a warm sunny day it's such a pleasure to wander around the entire dock, only pausing for a ice cream or a photo opportunity.

At night at weekends it can be a little crowded and the alcohol fuelled revellers can be a little rowdy. Not normally the scousers causing issues, but the multiple groups of stags and hens causing mischief.

I just wish the yellow quacker would return

Great place with LOTS of attractions! Museums, shops, cafes/restaurants etc. Lovely atmosphere and the arena and big wheel give you an amazing feel when you look at them.
