After having a bit of trouble finding this hotel, we were thrilled by the room, the service, the location...everything.

Our room was basic, clean, and we had a nice view over Albert Dock. The dock area is very lovely. There are a number of restaurants, stores, and bars just a few steps away. The hotel breakfast wasn’t all that great.

We arrived a couple of hours before check-in but were allowed to go ahead and get in our room. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located at the Albert Dock and really incorporates the character of the area. Rooms had brick walls and large windows overlooking the dock. At about $105/night, this hotel is a good value. There are tons of restaurants nearby, and the Beatles Story Museum is in this same area. Our only disappointment was the breakfast. We went to breakfast about 1 hour before the closing time. Most of the food, however, was completely picked over, and there was no one to ask about replenishment. Despite this experience, we still had a pleasant stay at this hotel.

Very well situated in the Albert Dock - right by top attractions such as the Tate Liverpool and the Beatles Museum and the Maritime Museum. Room overlooking the Mersey was impressive. Very attractive renovation of the original docks warehouse, with the bland but comfortable spec of the chain itself. Continental breakfast OK but limited in some aspects.

No free hotel parking so allow £10 a day and a five minute walk from the multi-storey Arena car park nearby and forget the car for the rest of the trip

Recently stayed here for 3 nights this summer.
BEST Holiday Day Inn Express ever stayed at. Superb restoration from warehouse to hotel. Perfect for visiting the Beatles Story, Hard Days night, Maritime Museum. Breakfast was good- eggs, sausage, cold cereals, several types of pastries, hot chocolate, juices.
Room: excellent view of albert dock harbor, nice big room for 4 of us, good sized bathroom and shower area.
Be sure to visit the Cavern for great nightime entertainment. Beatles' inpersonator was outstanding. 3 hour concert.
Would highly recomend this hotel.
