Had a wonderful 1 night stay at the Crown Plaza, we were greeted by very friendly reception staff who couldn't do enough to help us. Our room had a gorgeous view of the river which was lovely when the sun set on the evening. Had full use of the pool, sauna etc which was really pleasant. We left our car parked for the whole day till 8pm even after checking out at 11am for an extra fee which was reasonable, would definitely recommend this hotel, thanks for a great stay!

Room Tip: River view

Stayed here for the umpteenth time in Jan 14. We have stayed in other Liverpool hotels but all round this one is the best. Great location, good rooms, has the indoor pool, plenty of on site parking (fee) and very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. The rooms are good value and the cooked breakfast is lovely. Recommended for business and leisure.

Room Tip: The rooms on higher floors seem a bit bigger. other than that it is just the view that changes, eith...

When I opened the door to my room I was nearly knocked out by the smell. I was given a new room and there was still a musty smell in the bathroom, albeit nowhere near as bad as the first. Not good enough in a hotel like this.
However, I told the concierge that I had to leave before the restaurant was open for breakfast and he arranged for coffee, pastries, etc to be ready for me in reception when I came down to check out. He then even went to the kitchen and got me some cereal and buttered toast. Excellent friendly service.

Just stayed in this hotel for 2 nights over half term in a King Club Room overlooking the waterfront. Found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The hotel was in a great location for sightseeing both the city centre and dockside. Only downsides the free wifi was rubbish and the carpark charge.

We stayed as a family of 4 during half term . It's in an excellent location close to the Albert Docks and 5 mins walk to the West One shopping centre. The family room had two full sized double beds and was clean and well furnished . The bar area was lovely and drinks reasonably priced. Food in restaurant was good and kids ate free which was a bonus . Breakfasts were excellent and choice was good. Health club is well equipped and pool suitable for children not being too deep. Staff were all friendly and helpful . We would have no hesitation staying again . It's also very reasonably priced.

Fish & chips well received. Juicy fish crisp batter. For me the burgers are to die for. Well worth the half hour wait. The chef even came out to explain the method! I've regularly used the gourmet burger chains but the Crowne beets them. Buy their burgers!!

We stayed for 2 nights and could not fault the hotel apart from one minor issue, although not a fault of the hotel really. The staff were fantastic, all either from the surrounding area and it showed, their warmth and enthusiasm for their city was palpable. Special mention must go to Frank the Concierge, and Lydia, on the bar late one night and then breakfast duties the next morning. The Spa was a welcome wake up in the morning. There was a very noisy wedding on the first night of our stay which meant not getting to sleep til after one, it finished when the hotel said it would and full marks to the Duty Manager who handled a disturbance beautifully that occurred at the wedding earlier in the evening. Liverpool is a fabulous welcoming city and this hotel, with the excellent food and great service is the place to stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the function room.
