Reviewed 16 August 2014

This is a very well placed hotel with lots to do locally. We generally had a very nice couple of days here.
However, I am totally wheelchair bound so we had a 'disabled room'. Our room had a shower within the bath, so it was completely useless to me.
A true disabled room bathroom should be a wet room with a shower chair.

Dear guest, thank you very much for taking the time to post a review on your recent stay here with us at the hotel. I am sorry you were not aware we had a bath in the room; however we do have rails alongside the bath and in the room for your safety. Unfortunately we do not have wet rooms, but your comments are vital to us and we will keep this in mind for any future developments of the rooms. Thank you once again and I hope you will consider staying here with us in the future.
Kind Regards

Just spent a weekend here again and the visit met with our previous good experience of the hotel with excellent service provided by the staff and a great room overlooking the pier Head.

Breakfast was the usual good standard; I went for the special order items both days (smoked haddock and then kippers) and they were cooked within 15 minutes and worth waiting for.

Weather was atrocious on one day and the concierge lent us both umbrellas for the day.

Didn't use the pool or gym on this visit but has been good before.

Stayed here for 3 nights last week and were really impressed with all aspects of the hotel. We booked a luxury double which incorporated a king size bed and a nice view of the dock where the cruise ships dock. Included in the deal was access to the club room where, between 5pm and 7 pm, we were treated to free drinks and nibbles etc. You could also access this room for a continental breakfast should the restaurant be particularly busy. Nice touch. The breakfast in the restaurant was something to look forward to. The staff were very helpful and added that touch of humour as only Liverpool people can. The location was superb for a city break. Walking distance to most attractions and restaurants. Good value for money in August when the hotel has very few business guests. Will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Go for the luxury rooms on the 3rd floor to get the "Club Room" benefits

Spent 4 nights here and was very pleased with our room (view of the Mersey) and the leisure facilities.
We did try to eat in the restaurant on our last evening but due to the inclement weather I think every other guest had the same idea so we ate in the lounge area instead. I was slightly put out having to wait for the F&B supervisor to acknowledge our presence at the desk while she sorted out an issue with one of her staff. I felt like the invisible man! Our waiter, Joe, was very attentive and efficient.
The leisure facilities are excellent; it is good to be bale to have a steam where you don't sit cheek by jowl with other guests. My only gripe would be that the staff could possibly monitor the usage of the jacuzzi by children under the prescribed age or perhaps the parents should be more responsible!

Room Tip: Rooms on the 4th floor have larger windows.

Dear guest, thank you very for taking the time to post a great review on your recent 4 night stay here with us at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Liverpool City Centre. Please accept my apologies for you having to wait for the food and beverage supervisor to get their attention, you should have not felt this way and for this I am sorry. In relation to the Jacuzzi children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the Jacuzzi at all. There is signage showing this and we do have leisure attendants monitoring this does not happen, I am sorry this was not the case during the stay. We truly hope this will not deter you from using the hotel facilities again in the future as we would love the opportunity to welcome you back to here with us.

Had a great birthday weekend stay here. Lovely dock side location in walking distance to the mersey ferry, Liverpool One, dock and plenty more! On the first night of our stay there was a wedding party but to be fair the noise wasn't excessive. Breakfast was very good fresh and hot. The hotel staff are always helpful and friendly. Rooms are fairly small for the price but well decorated, shower wasn't powerful enough. Bed and bedding is very comfortable. Good hotel would definitely visit again.
