A great hotel to relax in and vist Liver pool. Central and only 12.50 for parking which we felt was ok due to location. Excellent breakfast. Swimming pool and fitness room good.Changing facilities need an up date but ok. Rooms and bed very comfortable. The staff were excellent amd couldnt do enough to help. The ice cream sunday from the bar a little pricey but delicious and a real treat to share. Staff couldn't do enough to help.

One-night stay booked using my last Marriott Reward points, and was delighted to be told we were in an Executive Room which was very spacious and nicely appointed. The reception girls were lovely, very welcoming and in fact all staff we encountered were too. The only facility we used was the Vivacity Bar for a quick drink before bed. As always, the Marriott beds are wonderfully comfortable.
I've deducted a rating point for the ridiculously expensive internet charges in-room (although nice to have in the public areas for free) and the similarly expensive breakfast, which we skipped.
Otherwise, would recommend for comfort and great location next to city centre and train station.

Room Tip: We were on 2nd floor overlooking theatre/road, and didn't have any noise disturbance at all.

We were greeted by an irate receptionist who despite my friend's high Marriott status treated us like dirt and did not act like the four star they say they are. Apart from that experience however, most of the other staff were indeed friendly and of service but not above average.

The property looks old and colors/furniture is outdated. There is no gym, pool or sauna. Rooms are small and although the location is great in close vicinity to the train station and central parts of Liverpool, it's not in a nice area so no need to ask for a view; there is none.

Breakfast was alright with the basic items but plus for having an omelet station.

I have been here on an official visit to the Liverpool Marriott. I've had a very pleasurable stay here and the convenient location ensured I had quick access to the train station, shopping complexes, supermarkets and apparel stores. I checked out every weekend and the check-in process was very smooth. The breakfast buffet was indeed a great start to the day. However the facilities are not most conducive for long stay guests. An oven and basic cutlery could be provided, alongwith special schemes in terms of wine & dine vouchers/allowances. The hotel needs to work on its long stay packages for guests on business travel. In this respect, Staybridge Suites Liverpool has better arrangements (laundry, wine & dine weekly freebies, basic kitchenette, free wi-fi). However due to the convenience of location, I opted to stay at the Marriott.

We went here in August and it was a great hotel. The only thing I would say was breakfast could've been hotter, but rooms were large and very comfy. We would've liked rooms on the same floor but apparently this was the hen night promoters fault we still had a great time. Freedomltd organised hen weekend and it was great.

My partner and I celebrated our birthdays with an over night stay. We arrived before check in time of 3pm and were given a room. The staff, who were all local's, were really nice and polite. They even went and slipped a birthday card under our room door for us. The double standard room was good, with a comfortable bed and plenty of room. After a good breakfast we took time to use the pool and sauna. We also had a free of charge late check out, which was great after our night out. I will use this hotel again. It has great staff and in a central location within the city centre, seconds away from shops pubs and all the attractions this great city has to offer.
