Liverpool Marriott Hotel City Centre
Ranked #43 of 98 Hotels in Liverpool

A hotel situated in a great location, relatively easy to find ( for Liverpool ) and charming staff unfortunately fail to out -weigh some of its failings.
Check in was efficient and speedy.
The room on the 6th floor was nice and spacious and clean on the whole. The two chairs situated therein, however tell a different story! The stains on them, one could only guess the origin. It would be better to just get rid of them and do without. The bed, albeit a lovely size did not match in any way the quality or comfort found in other Marriott hotels.
Breakfast was OK, the young egg chef coping well with what must have been a coach party arriving at 0730am.
Check out was equally painless. The parking next door is great value, arrive after 5pm and depart before 9am for £2.90!!
In need of serious investment to maintain what the Marriott brand stands for.

Stayed at this Hotel for one night for a wedding nearby . In good position for all attractions , staff very friendly and helpful , but felt hotel very expensive along with a £12 parking fee . Room was clean but had problems , air conditioning did not seem to work very well , this was also problem for other guests in our party , wash hand basin hot water tap only trickled water made it frustrating to get a shave. We were offered a discounted breakfast which we had , good breakfast but again thought expensive . After this experience would always try to book a Premier Inn , as good a quality and a far better deal inclusive of Evening meal and breakfast.

We stayed here for three nights in July, on a coach trip. The hotel is very central, and really handy for Lime Street railway station. The rooms are fine, but for me the excellent staff made our stay extra special. Several of them went out of our way to help us, including the concierge, reception staff, and the maintenance manager who came and fixed a broken lamp for us.
The breakfasts were very good, with a wide selection, and even an egg chef who cooked fresh eggs and omelettes to order.
My only gripe was that the evening meals were pretty average, but to be fair, we were a coach party, and budgets had to be met. After two nights of poor food, we decided to eat out on our final evening in Liverpool.
Overall though, this is a very good hotel.

The bed was casters attached to the box springs with a mattress thrown on top. Most uncomfortable bed ever. The box spring has bowed out and the middle of the bed was a sinking hole. It was like trying to sleep in a birds nest with the head and foot of the bed at least 6 inches higher than the middle. Please get new Mattresses!

Hotel is central so ok for getting around. stayed on the 24th June for the business awards. Used my Marriott reward number for 2 rooms but as yet no sign of my reward points??

Rooms ok you know what you are getting at Marriott. As with all chain hotels the Bar area and service aint good and I wounder why they bother ? Wines advertised not available and why do these guys
think people will pay stupid prices for drinks they can get next door for £1.00/£1.50 cheaper?
They should understand that perhaps people may stay and re order if they are not being ripped off.

Room Tip: Why do these places charge you for WIFI in your room? They give it to you for free in the bar ? I s...

Nothing fancy about this hotel, but it is very conveniently located near Lime Street station. The absolute best part of the hotel is their staff. We arrived very late and the late night staff was very helpful with our plans and our arrangements for a Beatles tour and Anfield stadium tour were made by morning. Paula was particularly helpful and enthusiastic. A great place to lay your head - we'd definitely stay there again!

Just stayed for one night (24 June).
Despite the rain very friendly chap helped me find the car park. Then greeted by the most friendly and efficient receptionist ever.
This place is very well run, clean, everything works and the staff are great.
Liverpool must be the friendliest place in Britain.
Will definitely be back for a longer stay
