“Lovely hotel. ”
Reviewed 3 November 2013 via mobile

We stayed here 31st October while visiting our daughter who is at the Uni.
Our room was very clean and presentable, with modern tv and Freeview, tea making facilities, hairdryer and even a wall mounted bottle opener - loved it! Our bathroom was exceptionally clean, not a smear or hair in sight. There was plenty of wardrobe/shelf space and 2 full length mirrors.
Then the bed, what can we say... it has to be the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in, the soft comfy mattress, pillows and quilt were like sleeping on a cloud (I'd imagine lol)
The staff on Reception were very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is located on a main road the traffic didn't bother us at all.
I would recommend this hotel and shall be doing so to my friends who also have children at the Uni.
Thank you Campanile for making our stay in Liverpool all the more enjoyable.

We stayed here overnight Friday 18th October 2013. Our room was clean and comfortable with freeview tv, free wifi and coffee and tea making facilities. The staff were all pleasant and friendly Both the continental, all you can eat breakfast, and the cooked breakfast's were very good. The hotels location is good for the docks area and the town center. One night for two people was £70.00 and the breakfasts are extra. We thought this was a reasonable cost and parking was free.

We visited Liverpool on the 19th October for an overnight stay while attending a reunion and booked into the Campanile Hotel situated at Queens Dock.

On arrival we were greeted by some very cheerful, pleasant reception staff who were polite and helpful. Although the corridors of the hotel looked a little worn and in need of redecoration, the room itself was fine. It was basic but that's all we needed as we were only there for one night, it was clean and comfortable and met all the requirements we expected for somewhere to sleep for the night.

We paid £120 for a room only which is more than some other hotels we looked at but due to it's location, there was no need for expensive taxi rides into the city centre. The Campanile is in an ideal location, It has it's own secure parking facilities, is only a five minute walk from the Albert Dock and another five minute walk to Liverpool One Centre so the extra you spend on the room, you save in taxis.

We enjoyed our day and night out in Liverpool, the city itself is a great place to visit either by yourself or with a group of friends, there's plenty to see at the docks and night life
is lively and entertaining.

On the whole our trip here was great, the city is well worth a visit, and if you are considering staying over, this is a clean and comfortable place to stay in a good location.

Room Tip: We had a room at the front of the hotel facing the main road but were not disturbed by passing traff...

stayed here during August this year. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and thought it was great value for money. Our rooms were clean with comfy beds, freeview tv and free wifi. The staff were lovely and helpful. We had one room at the front and one at the back overlooking the water, yes there was some road noise but that did not bother us at all. A 5 minute walk took us to the Albert Dock and L1. We would definetly stay here again. Also great value at £86 per room for 2 nights.

Staff friendly and helpful. Very basic accommodation but clean and comfortable - over-priced at £100 room only. Room was at the front of the hotel so there was some traffic noise. Convenient for city centre and Albert Dock.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the dock as those overlooking the road are a bit noisy.

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel wasn't really bothered about it being 2 star because we didn't expect to be in our room much, but when we did,we found a comfortable bed, a nice shower and everything was clean, and also have to say the staff on the desk/bar were absolutely brilliant we were made to feel very welcome, all in all we would stay here again. If your after 5 star this is not the place for you, but its in a good location and has free parking and for the price i found this hotel had more positives than negatives.

Room Tip: Try and get a dockside room a lot less noise from the traffic.
