I really enjoyed my stay here. Based on other reviews I requested a room not station side and it was a quiet room that we had. The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel breakfast buffet excellent. The heating pipes made a little noise in the wee hours but otherwise all good

This is a lovely hotel 5 mins walk out of the back of the station. Hotel is immaculately clean, modern and the staff are helpfull. Breakfast is buffet style, hot and plentiful. Would def stay again.

My husband and I stayed in the Liner Hotel recently and we would both highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We've stayed here a few times in the past and have always been happy with everything. The staff are helpful and friendly. The restaurant is spotless & the breakfast wonderful. Compliments to the wee old waiter in the Breakfast Room he's an excellent worker. This Hotel is run well and the rooms are comfortable. We had a bowl of fruit on our doorstep, thanks to the Liner Hotel.

Just enjoyed a weekend at this hotel. Good value for money, friendly staff and good breakfast selections.
Ate in the Hotel on our first evening and it was very well presented, fresh ingredients and excellent value for money.
Free parking is very useful and you can walk easily into the city to view the sights.
We are regular visitors to Liverpool and have stayed at other hotels, we will return to the Liner.

Room Tip: depends what you want a double or twin

Breakfast staff were brilliant, so friendly and accommodating, the food was consistently good. Parking was a real bonus. Rooms were generous and spotlessly clean. Ate in the bistro one evening which was good. Overall stay was excellent will be my first choice for return stays to Liverpool, ruling out other hotels I have used there.

Stayed overnight between Christmas and New Year. Hotel easy to access, free car parking for residents in a city centre (a bonus). Room not ready on arrival 1:40 although in fairness it was billed as being available from 2pm. Room, clean, comfortable, not overly big for a king size but the bed was very comfortable. Two niggles, the bathroom with no windows had no extractor - which meant it was steamed up for a long time. The mini bar contained a vile looking concotion (left by previous occupants) and therefore put us off purchasing anything from it. Location excellent, could easily walk to shops, bars, restaurants and even if we had arrived without a car, Lime Street is a stone-throw away. The staff were friendly, especially the chef, nothing was too much, he happily crisped bacon, hard boiled eggs, cooked sunny side up or over easy accordingly to the numerous requests and did so with a smile. The cost of the overnight stay including car parking and breakfast was one of the best value city breaks I have ever had.

Room Tip: The room we had overlooked Lime Street, but you could also see the Albert Dock, with any city we exp...

Stayed for a weekend and couldn't believe the noise in the room. (room 655) It was from the boiler apparently. We complained and got moved to the 4th floor where it was perfect. The hotel is well laid out and the staff were great. The hotel is in an excellent location for shopping and train station. Overall an excellent hotel. I would stay again and would recommend it.

Room Tip: Do NOT stay on the 6th floor. All the rest are excellent.
