“Super, super place for a Chinese meal”
Reviewed 16 January 2012

Enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal in this restaurant in the heart of Chinatown in Liverpool. Came across it by accident whilst out for a stroll, and what a find! We had no problem getting a table. This is quite a large restaurant and is very tastefully decorated. We had a set meal for two, which, at £16 per head was very good value. The presentation and standard of the food was excellent, service was very prompt and staff pleasant. If you intend visiting Liverpool and are a fan of Chinese food, you have to visit this establishment, it’s probably the best Chinese meal we’ve had in the UK. There were lots of Chinese people cooking food at their tables in large skillet-type pans. We’d never seen this before so it was quite interesting. Will definitely pay a return visit to the New China if we are in Liverpool again on another weekend break.

“love good food”

Good food in good surroundings, close to places you may want to visit after you have eaten, absolutely fabulous, we recommend their deep fried salt and chilli pepper sui mai's as a starter, great service too.
