Embassie Independent Hostel

I felt this hostel had a welcoming atmosphere, good amenities and was close enough to the centre but also quiet enough to ensure a good night's rest at weekend. The owners are very amiable and friendly. The rooms were spotless. The toilets and showers were a bit low-rent, but for the price it was a bargain and hard to fault. Would recommend when in Liverpool.

The main owner was nice and friendly and so was the french girl who's name started with M the others were a little flighty and didn't really seem to know much about the area. It's safe, they have lockers for you to use and Liverpool is a lovely city. I like that you can have free toast and coffee all day there is a large variety of spreads too!

Is in a really nice location, a bit residential, but quiet and close to shops, in a lovely old building. The Beatles tour was great, staff are friendly, and the common rooms well used so it was easy to meet people. Only downside was that the showers were lukewarm at best, and the weather was a bit chilly too. but nice place, and I would recommend it!

The hostel is located in a very old building but it has a really nice atmosphere. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Although a little far from the city center, it's located in a calm neighborhood.
The place is really made for backpackers to feel welcome. Besides tea and coffee, there's all sorts of breads, jams and butter for free all day long.
The breakfast have so many itens that it´s hard to decide what to eat. Breads, jams, yogurts, juices... Never seen that many options in a hostel.
The owners, Kevin father and Kevin son are very kind and makes you feel at home. The father has a lot a histories to share and really enjoy talking to the travelers.
Perfect place to stay.

When you first arrive at the hostel, the owner Kevin makes you feel really welcome and made us a pot of tea right there and then (There is free tea, coffee and toast around the clock!). He showed us what to do in Liverpool and gave us a personal tour concerning the Beatles and their history, and he had lots of personal knowledge about them and the city. Everything at the hostel is in order and the facilities are comprehensive (kitchen, lounge, laundry, showers, lockers).

Stayed here in February in a female dorm style room, had a good time! Kevin Sr (one of the owners) definitely makes it a warm and inviting place to stay. He's full of historical and Beatles related knowledge and will share some over a warm cup of tea on your arrival! Take his free Thursday evening Beatles tour! A good bed, clean room, hot shower, good location and great visitor information make this a good place to stay.

booked this for my daughter who had an audition at LIPA and we couldn't get her into any of the recommended places. I looked on the website and was impressed so went ahead, Couldn't have made a better choice! 5 minutes away from LIPA, 10 mins from Lime St Station. Excellent facilities and most important - very secure and welcoming! Thanks for looking after my daughter so well - she will be back!!

Room Tip: booked a double room for the same price as a dorm bed in any other places!
