Lovely space in a converted warehouse in the Albert Dock area. We came to Liverpool specifically to visit the Mondrian exhibition and it was well worth the trip. A fantastic exhibition. I disagree with the reviewer who described the replica of his studio as a "gimmick". This really showed how he used the walls of the studio to develop his paintings by moving around squares and rectangles of painted cardboard on white walls. Mondrian truly lived with his art.
One tip to parents - there is a family room with toys where young children can play rather than be taken screaming and shouting around the museum - a space where those shouts and screams echo and are magnified!
