“Good for an absorbing wander”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

An impressive place, art pieces from several time periods available to immerse yourself in. Only a few minutes from Liverpool Lime Street station so ideally located for a pop in. Entrance into the gallery is free with an option for a charitable contribution up to £4, well worth the money and the visit.

The musical toilet was a hit with my Granddaughter. We also loved the John Moores Exhibition both of us voting for our favourite painting.

“Great gallery varied selection”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

Grayson Perry had a display which was not so spectacular. But we were really impressed by the John Moores exhibition especially the the own space picture with the girl hidden behind her hair.

Varied selection of old and modern art as well as sculpture

“Fascinating”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

Went to see Grayson Perry tapestries, but whole gallery was really interesting. Mix of old and new. In fairly quiet area 3 min walk from Lime St. Station.
