This is a very lovely place with it great white buildings such as the Liver building looking down on you. It's a nice stroll near the water front too and overall a very lovely, peaceful place.

What's better than just walking under the sun, on the sea front, being battered by the strong ocean breeze? You can't not come to Liverpool and not fight it. Plus on the Pier Head are located the Liver Building, the Cunard Building, the Port of Liverpool Building and the Museum of Liverpool!

I am privileged enough to work in one of the "3 Graces" buildings at the Pier Head and can honestly say the area is wonderful and well worth a visit by anyone

The Liverpool skyline has always been stunning with the Liver Building, Cunard Building and other great architecture but for many years the Pier Head was a noisy dusty expanse filled with diesel fumes from the bus station positioned there. The transformation is a triumph. The bus station has now gone and in its place is a pleasant open expanse from which one can enjoy uninterrupted views of The Mersey and watch the passengers embark for the IOM Steam Packet. Admittedly one might be mown down by a passing skateboarder but this is a small price to pay! Very impressive from every angle!

I grew up in Liverpool and was born between the Cathedrals, so true Scouser! Now live near London, Surrey and over the years have seen how the Pier Head has reclaimed its' grandeur and retains its' history. There is now a lovely walkway/promenade and plenty of museums, as well as the three Graces - lovely hotels and bars, this World Heritage Site is just not to be missed!
