“Still enjoyable 2nd time around”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

Visited hear twice and loved everything about it, location, stairs, lifts, local art, stairs, local history, and did I say stairs! The stairs are central to the building and wind their way up, centrically, and tell you how many you've got left, for those not so keen the lifts are large and easily seen and accessible from all floors.

I particularly enjoyed local photo art that had pictures of fruit and vegetables on them with one quoting "I don't what it is but a bargain for 60p" still makes me chuckle.

Although the themes change, which is good for revisits, the top floor is generally the same with pop quizzes on local music, football, and Beatles themed, to include two shows with this regard, which was entertaining and very visual.

My daughter loved the Superlambananas around the building, and finding them throughout the city.

Overall would highly recommend to anyone vsiting Liverpool, or living there, as it's in a fantastic location, easy to walk to from anywhere in central Liverpool, and a thoroughly enjoyable experience, that made be understand what the Liver birds are.

“We always visit!”
Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

Since last year we have been the museum 5 times now always letting the kids run around and explore. There are plenty of interactive things to do (when they are working) this is a great new museum but the cannot let it get run down they need to get on top of maintenance to the interactive stuff. If it's your first time to Liverpool a must. If you've lived in Liverpool all your life it's a must!

“Lots of stuff, lots of space...”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

Does what it says over the door! The story of Liverpool told through its people, who are the main focus here. Three floors with lots of stairs but lifts too. The Liverpool Overhead Railway carriage is excellent as is the top floor covering popular culture. One niggle - almost all of the city's music stars are featured except Michael Holliday - why not?
