Traditional Indian restaurant in Renshaw Street within Liverpool City Centre. Good food and service and for a good price. Looks quiet or even closed from the outside but when you go in there are lots of people sitting within the enclosed booths so it's busier than it appears..
Worth a visit if you want a city centre curry.

After me and my fiancee was searching around Liverpool looking at restaurant menus outside on the walls, Indian Delight stood out to us, the menu looked appealing and the restaurant looked really nice from the outside. We decided try this place out and have a Indian meal and oh my the food was so nice and tasty, we are so glad we came here food is the best! Service was good, cleanliness seem to be good and the again I have to say was out of this world. For starters I had aloo pakora, my fiancee had onion bhajis, for main course I had a chicken makhonwalla ( a cheesy curry ) was lovely, my fiance had Tandoori chicken which was lovely and we shared a very nice garlic nan bread between us plus drink of course Lemonade and coke. The bill at the end wasn't expensive at all, we would return here again.

I've been coming for years and think the food is top notch. Ok, the decor is a little warn and it's a trek to the toilet but the quality of food makes up for that.

We came last night, poppadoms were fresh and the curries all really good - prawn madras, lamb roganjosh and my chickan shashlik absolutely brilliant. Rice was good, naan bread excellent and drinks reasonably priced.

One of the best Indians in Liverpool.

We had a takeaway on a Saturday night and was surprised when they said we would only have to wait 10 minutes. The chicken tikka pathia was overly sweet (not at all hot or sour in equal measures) and bland with about 5 small pieces of chicken, and the vegetable bhuna was utterly tasteless and swimming in grease. Tarka dal was like water with no texture and, again, completely bland with no spiced oil garnish - the *tarka* part of a *tarka* dal. Pilau rice and Peshwari naan were nicely cooked though but the naan was REALLY sweet.

It wasn't a massive order of different things but we definitely won't be going back if they can't get something as simple as a dal right.
