First visit to this place. Drove past, saw it wasn't too busy for a Sunday Morning and decided to give it a try. On the whole a very pleasant experience....the food was lovely. Continental Breakfast is such good value and would definitely get it again and a nice change from a Traditional English Breakfast but that also looked amazingly good value! The service wasn't that great though - when we arrived there was only two tables already in and we waited an age for our food. But there only seemed to be two staff on?! Don't think I saw the manager smile once either. BUT saying that, it's really really good value, refreshing food and would definitely recommend! One suggestion though.....scrap the two loads of jam on the continental and add some butter instead!First visit to this place. We had a wonderful Sunday dinner experience. 3 Courses for a bargain £14.95.
Large portions with alternative choice for those not wanting the usual roast dinner.
Dessert was a treat, I had sticky toffee pudding whilst my husband had the triffle- delicious.
Even though the restaurant was busy, service was slick.

Popular, lively, stylish neighbourhood restaurant, lovely, attentive, professional waiter - nathan - and fantastic breakfasts. Veggie breakfast was enormous and included perfectly cooked eggs, grilled vine tomatoes and a generous helping of grilled halloumi which can often be flabby and greasy when cooked in restaurants but this was perfectly done. Coffee was excellent and the rest of the breakfast menu looked stylish and included a good range of classics...smoked salmon scrambled eggs, eggs benedict etc. Quality sausage and bacon are used for the full amber breakfast....a great place for lazy Sunday breakfast, highly recommended.

Went for the first time to Amber in rose lane to have the early bird special, three courses for £15.00. The first course was warm chicken and bacon salad with pine nuts, truly delicious and a big starter, followed by fish chips and mushy peas, The chips were some of the best we have ever had and the fish was great tasting and once again a large portion! To be honest we struggled to eat the dessert, as we were so full! Banofee pie finished us off as well as a bottle of red wine to help it down. The staff were very attentive and chatty as well as a relaxing atmosphere, would not hesitate to go back tomorrow so well done.

In my opinion this is one of the best places in Liverpool. I have never been disappointed any of the times I have been there. Its my favourite place to go for lunch, they do the best gourmet sandwiches I have ever tasted. The dishes are served on a wooden bread boards which adds rustic feel to the meal, coming with a garnish and skinny fries (although you can request hand cut ones ( but I reccomend the skinny chips)). Each type of sandwich is gorgeously flavoured and very well balanced. The desserts are equally fantastic, the creme brulee being my favourite. Also the service is very good and the waiters and waitresses are very helpful.
