Firstly after my experience i cannot believe that some of the positive reviews on here are genuine. Stayed at the Anfield for a hen do and although the perfect venue to cater for hen parties the customer service was the worst and strangest I ever experienced. We were promised a BBQ on day of arrivial but on the day Warren the manager/owner decided he couldn't be bothered and we had to make other arrangements and when one of us expressed our dissatisfaction and disappointed Warren retaliated with an aggressive and unprofessional manner with no apology! The staff spoke little English and didn't have a clue and the male one acted more like a door bouncer and a spy and was very creepy and made us feel uncomfortable. The manager warren acted more like a wanna be gangster using threats and aggressive behaviour against us for no reason. This guy has no clue about customer service or hospitality and his priority is to get his money and then don't give a damn about the rest of the stay. In addition on out travels around Liverpool we heard other bad stories and many people warning us to be careful due to hotels reputation. I will never stay here ever again and hope no other ladies have the misfortune of doing so either. The rest of Liverpool was wonderful and so were the people just the hotel let us down.
