This place is great value for money and is situated opposite the Albert docs, the staff are very friendly and the rooms are very clean but basic, the beds are really comfortable, we stayed 3 nights and had a fab time, 5 min walk to pubs and food places, great place loved it.

Room Tip: we stayed in the front of hotel so was a bit noisy with the window open

stayed here recently for 4 nights at £25 a night, excellent value. great location for shops, bars, docks and sightseeing. staff were nice and helpful, the rooms were very warm at night, we were at front of hotel and had to close window because of noise. rooms were fresh and clean but could do with a bit more storage space, had a rail on wall with 6 hangers and no drawers of any kind, no good if staying more than 1 night. overall very good and would stay here again.

Room Tip: choose a room at back if you want it quiet.

We were in Liverpool, to go to the Theatre. We chose this hotel due to its location, price, and it takes dogs.
The reception staff were great, we stay in hotels a lot, and these people beat some other more expensive hotels, hands down.
The bedroom was very good indeed, and the bathroom was excellent, some other hotels need to look and learn, yes I am speaking of a Travelodge, I know that they used to be pretty grim places to stay - but if this one is anything to go by, we will be using them again, well done to them, and other hotel chains, had better watch their backs, as there is now a New Kid on the Block.

Room Tip: Go to the back of the Hotel

Good value for money, fairly good location (easy to reach from Lime Street main railway station via the Merseyrail underground - just two stops to James Street station & a very short walk to the hotel).
Staff were pleasant & efficient, though perhaps slightly aloof but this didn't spoil the stay.
Room was very warm indeed and could have benefited from a fan to help circulate the air given that there is no air conditioning and the adjacent main road is far too busy to even consider keeping the window open overnight.
All said & done, I will definitely stay here again.
