'Mendips', John Lennon's childhood home, was given to the National Trust by Yoko Ono on the condition that it should be furnished as it was in the late 1950s - a visit is therefore less about the Beatles and more about John's formative years and influences. The only way to see inside is as part of a guided minibus tour run by the National Trust. I have reviewed the tour separately, and would urge you to book well in advance because there are limited spaces available.
