Stayed at Hope Street Hotel last night. We paid a little extra for a studio on the 4th floor and well worth it. The view from one window showed Pier Head skyline and the other window Liverpool Catholic Cathedral.
The room had a huge bed, which was extremely comfy with nice white bedlinen and a leather seating area to relax. The bathroom was huge with plenty of good lighting for us ladies with makeup etc., altho hubby commented on the strength of the shaving mirror - one to avoid ladies!!!!
We booked the hotel to tie in with an evening at the Philharmonic Hall. Had a very pleasant meal in the restaurant, went to the show and the enjoyed a night-cap at the Philharmonic pub [not to be missed!].
Not being big "breakfast" people we opted for just coffee and toast but on check-out we were charged for eggs etc., at a cost of £20+ - luckily the Head Receptionist rectified this immediately and deducted breakfast totally from the bill - "brownie" point here!
This stay was a Christmas gift from the grandchildren but we will be looking out for any further deals the hotel may have to offer.
Rooms - we stayed in 419, paid a little extra but certainly worth it.!
