Stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bed was so soft, I found it hard to get up in the morning. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We didn't book the breakfast with our room but decided to have breakfast there two of the mornings and it was really great. Great choice for all! I would recommend this hotel to anybody.

Would stay here again. We had a family room with a view out over the dock to the Mersey and the Liver Birds. Good place to stay for all attractions. We walked back to the hotel from Anfield, we got to the hotel before we could stop a cab or get on a bus and the walk was not too long and we had two eleven year olds with us. Cab from the Lime Street less than a fiver - it is walkable, a short walk from James Strret train station, cab to Anfield about £7.
Our room was big enough for the four of us and the bathroom was a good size to.
We found the restaurant very handy and the food very good too. All the staff were brilliant.
The only little moan is the noise from the other guest going back to their rooms in the middle of the night - you hope for a nights sleep but do expect to be woken up. The first night we all got woken up by a drunk crowd going back to their room then two of them got locked out and banged on doors shouting and screaming. The second night was just a group of lads probably not realising their conversation was distrubing others.
All told a good budget place to stay made better if you get a room with a view!
We did the Anfield Tour and went on the Yellow Duk Marine. Both great and the kids loved it. They yellow duck Marine is a little tour of the city and the docks, the vehicle goes on the road and in the water. The guide like all the people we met in Liverpool was great!

Great value for the money.
Great location, really friendly staff, very nice food at breakfast, nice decor, very nice modern room.
Only slight downside was the view from our room was onto a roof - but everything else made up for that.

I stayed here with a friend whilst on a 4 day break. I have to say of the most nicest hotels I've stayed in. The location is pretty good; yeah maybe a 5,10 minute walk to city centre but worth staying here than anywhere else. Rooms are immaculate and soooo comfy! food is great, staff are very helpful and friendly. Top class hotel for such a little price!

Brilliant location and the building has loads more character than you'd normally expect from a Premier Inn.

Great size room with view of the cathedral, exposed brickwork, fantastic bed and pristine bathroom.

You might want to request a room away from the nightclub though! There was quite a bit of noise from that on the Friday night we were there (no problem on the Thursday).

Great spot to go adventuring from. And car park deal means you only pay 5 pounds for 24 hours in the nearby multi-storey.

Spent a long weekend in this hotel + I would love to know what brand of mattress they use as I never wanted to get up! The hotel's in an excellent location down on the dock, it's a little bit of a walk into the city centre, but it's definitely walkable. Plus there are several bars and restaurants down on the dock for the evening time so that you don't have have to travel.

It'll be my 1st choice of hotel if I return to Liverpool!

Was looking for this hotel a few weeks ago only to find it was full. Just two days before my trip, it became available. HAPPY DAYS. Got a good rate and booked the optional breakfast at 7.50 per person. 80 pounds including 2 unlimited breakfasts.

We were visiting Liverpool for the opening of the Echo arena. Liverpool the musical was on and we wanted somewhere close. This is the closest hotel to the new Liverpool Echo Arena and is literally next door. You walk out the front door and there is the arena. On our visit we were in room 146 but due to poor signage, we could not find it. A staff member tried to help us but she couldnt find it either. 145 seems to be the end. Our room was off in another corridor and some higher number was where it would be expected to be. While there, the fire alarm activated so we had to leave. I rang reception and there was no answer. We went down to reception and there were two fire engines outside. We went off to the show and when we returned all was back to normal.

Next morning we went down for the cooked breakfast and while I love a cooked breakfast, I could not eat the sausages. They were sage and something. My personal opinion is they are awful. The rest of it was very nice though.

I was a little disappointed that our room had a window which looked onto a corridor rather than the outside or water, but I did not mention it or ask for a move.

We checked out next morning and reception gave us a card for half price parking in the large multistory car park next to the arena. The hotel has an agreement where residents at the hotel pay half price in this particular car park. We paid 5 pounds instead of the normal 10. The pass did not work when we tried it, but the customer service guy sorted it out for us in seconds.

I really liked this hotel and have no hesitation in telling my friends about it or staying here again.
