This is a fantastic in a grade 1 listed tobacco warehouse, great original features inside, good size rooms and great location for a number of places. Very disappointed in the restaurant, we had the meal deal the first night and wanted the sharing platter and offered to pay the difference but this wasnt allowed even though the restaurant was only open to residents, there was no bitter and offered guiness instead, we stayed a number of nights and the hash browns at breakfast were either over cooked or soggy every morning and only one coffee machine so normally there were queues. There was two of us in a double room and only one bath towel on one occasion, we asked for extra pillows but told that there were none available in the hotel though we had been online and there were three rooms available, the pillows were eventually brought up, the glasses in the room were not washed or changed over three nights, overall though we will return to the hotel but will not eat in the restaurant as there are cheaper places in walking distance and of better quality, it would be nice for an extra chair in the room and free wifi in the rooms.

Dear kaz7203,

Thank you for posting a review of the hotel. I'm sorry that we didn't quite meet your expectations.

The restaurant is open to non residents, regardless of day and time, and level of trade. I will forward your comments regarding the hash browns and absence of bitter to the restaurant management team for review.

I do appreciate the feedback and look forward to welcoming you back in the very near future.

Kind Regards

Ian Callaghan

I currently enjoyed a 2 night stay in the Premier Inn (Albert Dock). The location was perfect for our first visit to Liverpool. Car parking is available right outside the hotel at a cost of £15 for 24hrs. I wouldn't recommend buying the food at the hotel as there are lots of good restaurants, bars and cafes within 5-10mins walk of the hotel. There are some really good online deals for this hotel if you can be flexible with your dates.

Dear Banditsix,

Thank you for posting a review of the Premier Inn Liverpool Albert Dock. I'm pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay with us.

The location is perfect, and while there are numerous shops, bars and restaurants located nearby, our very own restaurant and bar is equally as good, and would urge any future guests to try our facilities first, which offer something for everyone, and with a meal deal of just £22.99 including dinner and breakfast, it's just something not to be missed.

There are some amazing deals to grab online, and like you say, if you can be flexible then even better.

Thank you again for your review, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

Kind Regards

Ian Callaghan

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way back home and had a really enjoyable stay. The old converted dock building has been converted tastefully with nice rooms. Our room had a huge window, air conditioning and a bathroom with an excellent shower, although the poor bathroom door was beginning to show bad signs of condensation damage as the extractors in the bathrooms don't really work effectively.

Within the premier inn was a reasonably priced restaurant which also served breakfast.

We didn't have dinner there, but the breakfast was very good with decent hot food, even though it was a buffet.

Note that parking is not on your door, but a short stroll away in the nearby ACC car park. The hotel will stamp your parking card and you pay the reduced fee of £9/day instead of £12

Nearby are lots of restaurants and bars and 2 kinds of hop-on hop-off busses. The Yellow bus charges something like £7.50pp and the ticket is valid for 2 days, so good value. If you love shopping, then you are just a 10 min walk away from a large range of shops and department stores such as John Lewis etc.

The excellent free Maritime museum is just 7 minutes walk away.

We had a wonderful 2 nights and enjoyed the wonderful location of the Premier Inn Albert Dock. There are no safes in the rooms so bring a padlock if you worry about that kind of thing, not that we had any problems.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights over a bank holiday weekend in August. It was clean, warm, welcoming and in a wonderful location. It is located in the old dock buildings, which are listed buildings. So there are some really features left over from when this building was used in the industrial era. The open brick walls, the riveted iron doors and the old iron columns. It really did all add to the timeless feel of the Albert Dock area. There are some great restaurants and bars situated in close by, with the museums and shopping districts all within a short walking distance. This is an absolute gem for value, comfort and location.

Have stayed at Premier Inn, Albert Dock quite a few times over the last few years and it is one of the best we have stayed in. All the staff are courteous and helpful, the food is good and the location is excellent. We stayed Thursday 24 to Monday 28 July for the Giant Puppet spectacular in Liverpool city centre. Just a couple of negatives for this stay. The hotel was very busy as you can imagine and obviously breakfast times are extremely busy and you have to queue which is not a problem and we did vary our times but on Sunday morning it was chaos and I felt sorry for the staff. One or more of the kitchen staff had not turned in and we had to wait for up to 10-15 minutes for food to come out of the kitchen, some of restaurant staff had to cover the kitchen and tables were not being cleared fast enough and not enough clean pots or cutlery. The breakfast manager was run off her feet as the bar till had broken as well and she had to manually add up the bills for people paying for breakfast on the day as well as booking people in. Perhaps when another big event is on more staff can be drafted in to help. That said the food was brilliant both at breakfast and in the evening. The staff even held our reserved table for us one evening when we were late back to the hotel.

The rooms are real value for money and we booked a 'quiet area' and were able to get a good nights sleep. However, a bit disappointed at the cleanliness in room 330 which wasn't as good as in previous stays. Quite dirty under rim of washhand basin and under rim of toilet, dirty plaster under bed from previous occupants, only noticed this on day of departure when checking we had everything before we left. The bed was only made up on two days out of 4 even though maid had been in to change towels.

It wont put us off staying at this hotel in the future but hope the comments will be taken on board by management.

Dear PW,

Thank you for posting a review of the Premier Inn Liverpool Albert Dock. I'm happy to read that we met all of your expectations.

We as mentioned in previous reviewer responses had a few operational challenges that weekend, due to team members unable to get to the hotel, and thus creating some challenges. The tills failing certainly exascerbated the situation further.

Breakfast times are displayed in our guest lifts, which inform of the quieter and busier times to dine, as bottleneck's usually occur, and so we endeavour to manage guest expectations this way.

Comments from forums like TA are alway's taken onboard by myself and the senior team, and your constructive feedback is greatly received.

We look forward to welcoming you back in the very near future.

Kind Regards

Ian Callaghan
