I stayed here with a friend last weekend and we thought it was a lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly, as everyone seemed to be in Liverpool, the room was very clean, spacious and the food was good too.

We couldn't have asked for a better location either.

We have just stayed here for two nights and didn't read any reviews on here but, having now read them, we have to say that we agree with the majority of them. The hotel is ideally situated for all the main attractions in Liverpool, especially the Beatles Story which is right next door. Our room was large, clean, had a very comfortable bed, a hospitality tray and a nice view of the big wheel and the river. We found the breakfast to be excellent value for money with lots of choice and all very fresh. Would definitely recommend the made-to-order porridge! We only had one evening meal in the restaurant and we chose the option of the set meal and we had no complaints, though the service could possibly have been a bit
quicker, though , to be fair, they were very busy as the hotel was full due to the Mathew Street festival being on that weekend. We would say that the only problem that we had was concerned with parking. On check-in the receptionist did not explain that if we parked in the Echo Arena car park then we would get a discount as customers of the hotel. Luckily we realized this later and got our discount, worth knowing as the parking charges are quite high. All in all,we would highly recommend this hotel and , as we hope to return to Liverpol soon, we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

    Excellent.
A new building, modern and clean rooms, a nice free internet service and 32" flatscreen TV in the room.
The little kitchen area was clean and bright, with a fridge big enough for bottle of water and snacks etc.
Very good value and a good location, this is where I will stay from now on.

I do have to mention though that our air conditioning broke down which meant a VERY hot and uncomfortable night. We were offered another room but were already unpacked and in bed so didn't want to move. Staff very apologetic.

the one problem was the parking we parked outside the hotel and it cost us £15 a day the only other option was to park in the muti storey car park down the road
