This B&B did not disappoint and Sue, the owner, looked after us very well. We chose our veggie breakfast the day before and (as we also sometimes eat fish) on the second day Sue cooked us a lovely Kedgeree for breakfast. A lovely, clean house just 10 mins from all the sights of the city. Highly recommend.

We stayed for Saturday night to see Elbow at the Echo Arena. We had sent Sue an email to say we would be arriving early and she rang back to say that there would be no problem with this.

On arrival Sue was so welcoming and the the room with a balcony that we had booked was gorgeous and extremely clean.

Getting into the city was easy on the local bus and Sue was very helpful with directions.

Breakfast was of a high standard.

The property is very nicely styled and Sue is a delightful and warm character.

Would definately stay again

We had a wonderfull stay at the avenue. Sue is the best! She takes time to chat and ask about your day. She cooks a perfect full English breakfast. The room was great, light and airy. We will recommand this B&B to everyone we know! Thank you Sue!

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Sue's place, an excellent B&B and I will be back. Sue was most welcoming and I recommend using the excellent and frequent 86 bus route into the centre of Liverpool. It is the easiest and most convenient way of getting to all the key locations in the city centre.

Stopped overnight at the Avenue Bed and Breakfast when we (My wife and 3 daughters) came to Liverpool for a concert at the Echo Arena. Chose to stop here after reading previous reviews and can honestly say that we weren't disappointed. The hostess (Sue) is really a lovely lady - helpful, interested with a warm and welcoming smile. The location, rooms, breakfast in fact everything was proverbially "spot on" Would not hesitate to recommend stopping here to anyone and if - no when - we come back to my home city again will if possible stop here once again!
Definitely a "home from home" but better - I don't have to do the washing up!!
