Great food every time I go, amazing choice of games and the best coffee for hangovers. The staff are happy lovely guys who make everyone feel special.

“Average”
Reviewed 29 September 2013

I thought I would try this place after reading a number of good reviews but I was sorely disappointed after my visit to A&J's. The food was average, the place felt dirty, the seating was cramped and the price for very average food was a little steep. This place is primarily a hangout for loud students that want a greasy plate of chips after school/college. But I must add that the staff are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome - probably the only plus!

“Proper decent food and charming service with a smile”
Reviewed 20 September 2013

Went here for breakfast with my other half. Really kooky place with games consoles and computers for web browsing. Great menu containing simple, home made crowd pleasers. We each had the monster breakfast, which lived up to its name! Couldn't finish it, either of us! Cracking brew to go with it. We were most impressed by how friendly and courteous the guys are here. Proper genuine service, not fake because-they-had-to. Asides from the great grub, it's hands down the service and friendliness of the guys that own this place that will bring us back here. Recommended.

“Friendly staff - average food”
Reviewed 8 May 2013

This place is a small alternative cafe catering for students and locals. Friendly staff - however - it is not a top rating restaurant in Liverpool. It cannot be described as a restaurant - more like a local cafe serving all day breakfasts and snacks. Basic menu selection.

“Awesome restaurant”
Reviewed 3 May 2013

This is the place to go if you are looking to get up after a night out. There breakfasts are life saving! Whilst being revived you can have a go on the retro games or just browse the web. I would highly recommend this place as the guys are really nice and friendly.
