Have nothing but good things to say about the Z Hotel Liverpool. All the front desk staff were constantly helpful, polite and provided a fantastic service throughout our whole stay. Arrived a few hours early and the room was already ready. Witnessed a similar situation during check-out (10am) with a couple wanting to book a room after a big night (aka hadn't been to bed yet) - Chris on the desk was just fantastic in helping them out, very impressed! Room was small but ours had a great view of the city and the TV was quality! Tea/coffee and water in the room. No fridge was the only downfall. Bathroom/shower was clean and great water pressure. Beware the frosted glass though - not the hotel for a first date. Discounted parking was appreciated as we paid £17.50 the night before in Manchester. Would definitely be staying in a Z Hotel again!

Room Tip: Rooms on the 8th floor have a great view

This hotel follows an increasing popular format of small comtempary rooms with a great bed and a good shower coupled with a 40" quality TV and I like it. No room service or phone but a fantastic quality nights sleep. Apart from the room you have a Cafe which also doubles up as the check in desk. They offer a large glass of wine and cheese a crackers in the early evening which mis a nice touch and gives you a chace to meet the other guests. Would I stay again? indeed I would.

Room Tip: I paid extra for a queen room, the bed was one of the best I've slept in and you could look out...

I needed to stay away on business and decided to take the opportunity of looking round Liverpool for the first time. I booked the Z hotel and wasn't sure what to expect but was very pleasently surprised. The location is great, it's clean and while the rooms are small they are modern with tea and coffee facilities, free wife and even sky TV with sports and film channels. The best thing though is the staff, everyone I've spoken to or witnessed just can't seem to do enough for you and they ALL genuinely seem to care. This morning over breakfast a guest asked for something they didn't have (I was to far away to hear what) and the young lad insisted on going to get it. I can't praise the staff enough and they all seem to have lovely personalities. I'll definitely come to Liverpool again and won't book any where else. Thank you to all concerned.

Having stayed at this Hotel numerous I can safely say that this place ranks amongst the elite in Liverpool City Centre. All the Staff are competent in what they do & I'm yet to any fault with the rooms I have stayed in. The complimentary Glass of Wine & Cheeseboard for guests is just an added Bonus you understand. ;)

Room Tip: Rooms with a Window tend to be slightly bigger but if you're just staying overnight it won't...

Stayed here over the Grand National weekend. I can’t stop talking about how impressed we were with the staff and the hotel over all. The location is perfect! Right in the heart of central Liverpool, surrounded by decent restaurants and bars. Everywhere is within walking distance. Very impressed with the rooms too. We were lucky enough to have a room on the 8th floor, the views over Liverpool were fab. Rooms are really clean and modern, it’s nice to stay in a hotel with a decent firm mattress with quality bedding and linen. We even had full Sky TV with the movies and music channels. We arrived early evening and were greeted with a complimentary glass of wine alongside a really good selection of cheese, olives and breads. The little extra touches are lovely but what really makes this hotel is the staff, especially George, Chris and Mark. They made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a good giggle over our wine and cheese hour. I broke my phone charger within an hour of arriving, they happily let me use their dock on and off throughout the weekend to save me buying a new one. This hotel is exceptional value for money!! Highly recommended and we will be returning without a doubt! Thanks guys xxx

Ideal hotel for couples and same sex groups going for a night out. Rooms were'nt very spacious but clean and tidy with coffee and tea making facilities. Good value for money. Breakfast was quite pricey also so if you have option get in with the price or go out!!
