I was looking for a cheap hotel as most were over priced with it being a weekend and I come across this little gem. Having read people's reviews I was a little scared about how big the room was going to be and how much privacy you would have in the shower/toilet however i was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very new and modern, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in and out was very straight forward. Our room was 805 which is on the top floor and it has a window. The room is quite small compared to most hotel rooms but it is nothing to grumble about, unless you intend living in there permantly it is more than big enough to cope with 2 people. The bed is firm but very comfy, they have a nice flat screen tv which includes sky movies and sky sports. The glass partition for the wet room is frosted enough to give enough privacy for showering and using the toilet. It is also a great location as it is only a 5 minute walk to all the bars on Mathew Street or to all the main shops in the city centre. If you are driving you are best following the hotels advice by parking on the NCP Moorfields as it is close by and with the discount voucher the hotel provide it only costs you £8 for 24 hours. On a slight negative if you get a room with a window and you are a light sleeper the main street outside can be a bit noisy during the early hours which woke me up once but wasnt enough to stop me falling straight back asleep. So overall I was more than happy with my stay here and will most definately be staying again and recommending it to my friends.

My husband and I had a very pleasant night here. Great location, helpful staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast (although if you are a coffee snob then you will need to pay extra for a good coffee), free wine, big TV, comfy bed. The only things that stopped Z from getting 5 stars was that the room was small even when you book the Queen room. And the shower runs all over the floor in the bathroom. But this really this is a great hotel if the price is right.

Me and my husband stayed here for five nights and it couldn't be better. A small but very functional room, you have all that you need and it's central. The beds were a bit hard but the service was excellent. No breakfast included but some cheese and wine every night, lovely! Would recommend this to anyone who'd like a comfortable stay in town.

Smart boutique style hotel central to the shops/bars etc with very modern, studio like rooms, that I personally found to be of an acceptable size and with free wifi. I booked a room with no window which I personally liked because there was no light into the room which made for a lovely sleep in. The staff were very friendly and the reception/bar/cafe area had a really nice atmosphere. As usual for half terms the girls shop leaving me to generally mooch around and there is plenty of things to do for us all in the centre of Liverpool. Overall, value for money, smart, friendly hotel, close to the shops and would stay here again.

This is a perfect spot for people who are over for shopping or the night life as it is right in the heart if liverpool just meters from shops and clubs. The hotel staff are brilliant and very helpful and the place is spotless!! What more do you need

Stayed whilst attending Grand National. Great central location within a minutes walk of Moorfields railway station and a 5 minute walk into the main shopping centre. One lift and no stairs. We had a Queen Room which was relatively small and having the bathroom within the bedroom with only an opaque screen to seperate them was slightly off putting! Our room 101 was overlooking the road and very noisy all night which may have been louder than usual because of the Grand National meeting or just usual Friday and Saturday night Liverpool?! Staff couldn't do enough for us and overall a good hotel for a City centre stay.
