Stayed end of March for weekend with a group of friends for my birthday celebrations. The Hotel Manager, Annie, was amazing as were all the staff, especially the nightshift guy who was very helpful! Nothing was a problem to the staff and provided everything we needed with a smile! Would definitely recommend! Very clean hotel. Top marks!

Stayed here the second night of our weekend break, went to see Gary Barlow at the Echo Arena on Friday and stayed at another hotel then moved to this one as ours was full, we should have booked 2 nights together instead of seperately. The room was very basic, didnt even have hand wash in the bathroom. Unfortunately for us there was a group of very very selfish blokes staying who thought it would be funny to knock on doors from 1 to 7am this was constant, even when we opened the door they continued to do this all night, there is no phone in the room to ring reception, when we were checking out we were asked if we had a good stay we said no but the person on reception clearly wasn't interested. I realise this isnt the hotels fault as they cant screen everyone to see if they are idiots before confirming a booking but the noise these guys were making could have been heard by the majority. This really did spoil out last day in Liverpool (what a fantastic city) as we were shattered, what a shame. Think before you book as you get what you pay for. Location isnt bad at all, 5 - 8 minutes to the shops, bars etc. Not too far to Albert Docks either about 20 ish minutes

Room Tip: Make sure Liverpool arent playing Man City maybe then you will have a chance of better clientele and...

I came here with two friends in February for my birthday. We had a family room, which was very large and spacious. Just what you needed in the room bed, bathroom and tea making facilities.

The hotel is five minutes away from the bars so is very convenient and also very close to the city centre!

I would stay here again

Stayed for three nights, our second visit to this Travellodge. The hotel is excellently located, a five minute walk to the city centre. Very clean, the beds and pillows were super comfy, fab sleep but do be aware lots of building work nearby (Not the hotels fault but worth noting) and they do start early! Room Spartan but clean and spacious. Staff were friendly. Fantastic value for money, not many places you can stay in Central Liverpool at £25 a night, booked through Topcashback and got nearly £4 back! you can check in early, there is a £10 charge. Would recommend and will return to fabulous Liverpool.

Spent two nights here, Saturday & Sunday, with a group of friends. Having arrived by train we were earlier then the 3pm check in time, but by paying £10 for an earlier check in on 1 room, we were all able to leave our luggage in that room. The staff very kindly allocated our rooms at the same time, so that when did come back to check in we knew we where we would be. They also managed to get us all pretty much on the same floor. The hotel is in a great location, minutes from the shops, bars and riverside. It's well maintained, lovely and clean the rooms perfectly adequate. Some of the rooms that face the back of the Hotel were a bit dark due to the other buildings around, but they were also very quiet. There were some noisy guests staying on Saturday night, but that was only in the early evening as they were getting ready to go out. Didn't hear anything later at all. We didn't use the dining facilities or have breakfast in the Hotel as there are so many places to eat in Liverpool. Our friends did though and said the food was good. The cafe down the road on Exchange street does a smashing English breakfast with tea or coffee for £4.00. The Manageress and staff here were all very helpful, and gave us tips and directions to get the best out of our stay. Would definitely recommend it and will certainly stay here again in the future.

What a lovely hotel for a cheap stay. Lovely, friendly staff. Huge recently renovated room. Late check out (12pm). Comfy bed. Couldn't fault it. Only gave it four stars due to the fact that we were woken early on the second night by building works and there wasn't much of a view from the window on the second floor. But if you're after good value, this is the place to go!
