Great atmosphere , great service , great food. What more can you you ask for? Without a doubt this is the best restaurant in Liverpool 1. Many others are overpriced and overrated but here at Browns you will be guaranteed quality. There is a specials menu which has a different dish each night of the week. We went for a family meal with our children aged 11 and 13. We were really well looked after and we thoroughly enjoyed it. 10% service charge for 5 plus diners is the only downside. Would definately return.

Hi,

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for these fantastic comments. I am so happy to hear that you and your family had such a great time on your recent visit.

The specials menu is great is you fancy something a little different; we also have some new and really exciting dishes coming onto our menu in October so keep an eye out for these.

We do apply service charges to parties of over 5, however if you do not wish to pay this just inform the your server and we will be more than happy to remove this for you.

Kindest regards,
Steph Roberts

We came from Dublin just to see a football game and we were looking for a place to eat before our flight back. I was surprised because of its central spot but it was a nice place. The food was very enjoyable, great service, friendly staff (I think our waiter's name was Marc C, he was very, veryyyyy kind) :)

Firstly i must express my surprise at the the current rating outside the Top 100 Liverpool Restaurants of Brown's Bar & Brasserie.
We dined on a very busy Friday evening and despite the obvious pressure the waitresses and staff were under i though they provided a very good service.
The food was very enjoyable.
I had the King Prawn starter and my wife the Mushrooms.
These were nicely presented and very tasty.
For main we had the Surf and Turf which was Lobster and Fillet Steak costing £49 to share.
The portions were generous and came with chips and some nice leafy salad.
Sides of Onion Rings and Cabbage with Bacon were very tasty too.
The wine list was extensive and we chose a nice bottle of red at a reasonable £18.
My wife still had room for a brownie with ice cream and i decided to have a cocktail to finish the meal on.
This brought the final bill to £100 but it would of been possible to dine cheaper had we not been slightly extravagant in our choices.
Browns was clean and the decor easy on the eye.
The service was good.
Recommended.

Popped in for a drink on Tuesday around 4, in the city for a short break and not driving, so why not!
Had the Aperol fizz and limoncello and peroni.

Popped on Wednesday for a beer around 5 and saw Jason Donovan walk past and pop into Jamie's italian next door. Btw beer was nearly£10 for two

Hi Jane,

I am glad that you were able to take advantage of our fantastic cocktail offer and that you enjoyed your drinks so much.

You will have to leave your car at home more often so you can sample the rest of the menu.

Kindest regards,
