Stayed here on 7th June 2014 for a stag night in Liverpool. Honestly I couldn't complain about anything here. The place looks a bit grubby from the outside but once inside the rooms are big, clean and comfy. Perfect for a big party just wanting some cheap and cheerful digs. The owners were great and just let you get on with it. Breakfast was tasty and a bargain at £3.
One thing I would suggest is to put a sign up outside the guesthouse. Its not well signed and blink and you'll miss it. Also I'd replace the England flag, tatty curtain rail in the top floor window.
I think some of the other negative posts were a bit unfair, the area appeared safe to me and we parked 3 cars without any problems.
I wouldn't have any hesitation staying here again.
