“End of season”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

This was my first experience of the nightlife in Liverpool. A good location to all amenities in the City, but on first observations found it to be a below par hotel. Rooms are very basic with tired decor. I made a complaint about the blocked sink in the room on my check in, but was overlooked to get attention. Every room seems to be in ear shot of the Karaoke that goes on at the weekends down in the McCartney's Bar. Overall an over priced stay!!

Room Tip: There isn't one!!!

We actually live in Liverpool but stayed over after a function and found the hotel was very good, as were the facilities and the staff.
Room was excellent and the bathroom very good with a strong, hot powerful shower.
Nothing was too much trouble and they go out of the way to help you in anyway.
Definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

If you can live with the karaokeesingers Friday and Saturday nights (not all of them singing in tune at 2 o'clock in the morning) it's a brilliant hotel with a nice English breakfast, really nice and helpfull staff, and not least very fine decorated bar and restaurant with a lot of Beatle-atmosphere!!!

Room Tip: You shouldn't choose the ones directly over the bar if you arrive on weekends ;-) unless you'...

We were having a night in Liverpool and had the misfortune to book in here. The room was small and musty, grubby bedding and noisy. We booked in and spent about half an hour in the room trying to get ready in near darkness , only one lamp worked and shared bathroom. We decided to have our meal and travel home. I could not think of recommending this hotel to any group of people.

Great location in the city center close to all attractions. Rooms bit small but clean. You must expect a bit of noise late at night best thing to do is stay out late and enjoy. Breakfast was good and staff were great. Great night out at the cavern with the cavern Beatles fantastic show. Booked for August cant wait.

This hotel is in an excellent central location right next to the shopping district, major train interchange and supermarket. I stayed in a single room on the second floor, facing the busy main road. The room was clean and larger than what I expected from the photos available on the web. The included full breakfast set was also excellent, a definite plus. I brought along earplugs for this stay since I was expecting noise. I wasn't a light sleeper and didn't really need them eventually. Overall, it is really hard to find another hotel more central than this at such reasonable prices. Will stay here again if I'm back in liverpool.

This hotel is very noisy on a Saturday night so only stay here if that doesn't bother you. It might be quieter on higher floors though as I was on the first. The curtains didn't close and the light from all the pubs and clubs shone through my window.

When the noise of the nightlife died down, they clean the roads outside and empty all the bottle bins at 6am.

Breakfast was at 8 and I didn't stay long enough to tell you what that was like.
